Never the less I spoke to Apple store chat they referred me to a special customer services number which they gave me. He then said its not likely at all but its worth putting you through to your local apple store to see what they can do. I spoke to the retail where I got it from and they can't do anything but made me feel better about it haha.

So all in all I'm happy again and that was the best experience with the Apple customer service yet. Even better than when I bought the machine... took me 2 hours to buy it because they weren't going to give me the 14% student discount...
