Wednesday, April 8. I ordered a matte screen, which seems to be the reason my order is delayed. It languished in Alaska awaiting a screen part needed for assembly. There has been some delay in custom orders this last week or so according to my representative. It doesn't bother me too much, I think it will still arrive in good time, I allowed additional time, but this is cutting it close.
Such is the way....in the meantime I am having fun catching up on the forum.

Yeah I ordered mine on the 10th. Matte, 2.93, and 7200 HD upgrades. Got it through my school, so they'll ship it to me after they get it. The wait is killing me and I can't really track it until the school ships it.

In my continued psychotic state, I had to figure out just which flight it came in on. Not that it matters at this point for me, but in the future if another fanatic is searching this site for a thread of hope, they may like to read the info

My best guess tells me that the MBP was on this flight : Qantas Airways Limited #7581 which arrived from Shanghai just 10 minutes before fedex updated the tracking info with "Int'l shipment release". I'm about 99.9% certain that means I've got the flight figured out.

There is absolutely no way that your Mac book was on the Quantas flight if it is being shipped via FedEx. If you PM me your tracking number I can tell you exactly what flight it was on.
