Hello.

I am planing to move from Miami to Berlin probably within the next 6 months.

How are the wages as a video editor? I use to work as a project manager in a ott app digitizing tons of videos and making conversions of shows for Youtube. We had 900 youtube channels and the app with more than 400 shows.

I am wondering about that kind of jobs in Berlin but I believe I would have to start as a video editor first.

What is the most popular platform there? Final Cut Pro? Premiere? Avid?

I've worked at a lot of media companies, and TBH when it comes to video Munich seems to be where the German market is centred. Mind you, my experience is more in TV broadcast than social media, so perhaps I'm just out of date.
