Pun intended? lol.. yeah probably but who will be the first to jump and report back to the community that's the minority.. just wish one of the major tech reporters had the issue and wrote about it..^ Since we don’t even know the root cause, I think we just have to wait and see.
I’d like to know this as well. When the larger MacBooks come out, I’m hoping it’s temporary.I recently got an M1 Air and I feel eye fatigue after 30 minutes. This usually happens whenever I get a new phone and it goes away after a few days. Curious to know if anyone had eye strain/headaches/fatigue that went away after a few days?
I'm hoping they will solve the problem in the new ones.I’d like to know this as well. When the larger MacBooks come out, I’m hoping it’s temporary.
My guess is that the eyestrain/headache issues probably don't even make the list of things for Apple to worry about. And judging by the displays of newer devices, I have no reason to be hopeful when it comes to the new MBPs.Any updated thoughts on if the new MBP's due to be announced next week will solve or just continue to be an issue for us?? he latest rumours about it https://www.macrumors.com/2021/10/12/macbook-pro-upgraded-webcams-new-power-brick/
You're not alone. I have the same concern. As soon as they said these newer MacBook pros would have even more colors, I just pictured dithering in my head and that made me very pessimistic about any of these new MacBook Pro’s working for me. I couldn’t used the latest iPad pros, so I don’t know how this would be any better.
My wife is ordering some for her school (base model 16") and I'll be trying it out at home for a couple days and will report back here.Hoping someone that has this issue can get to an Apple store and play with one to see how they go.
You sir are a legend. My wife is ordering some for her school (base model 16") and I'll be trying it out at home for a couple days and will report back here.
Thank you for this. Their overuse of temporal dithering literally makes me sick 🤕. I hope micro LED will not require so many tricks for color whenever it shows up.Well according to this they are using an 8 bit + FRC display not a true 10 bit display in the new M1 Pro/Max models. Curious how people get on with this.
