I'm sure many of those people also associate screen size with "innovation".

People just like to find things to whine about.

Yeah, the screen size thing is nothin more than remote control envy. Do I think apple should offer a bigger phone option? Yes, but that does not preclude them from maintaining smaller one as well.

Well many people in the thread about it feeling cheap agree and have went back to Ipad 4.

The majority of the people in that thread probably never had an Air in the first place, it's a way of making themselves feel better because they couldn't get one for some reason.

Why do people buy something eg the iPad air
When they are clearly told its lighter thinner with less bezel and the moan about it

Yes, I hate all of the better features. I wished it weighed a ton and the bezel was the size of a football field.

And similarly, the iPhone is too light, can we go back to cell phones like this:

You aren't taking this seriously ;), the iPad 4 bunch reckon size and weight is paramount for the ultimate kit.

This is the phone to replace their iPhone with:

It's nice to have something weigh down my shoulder "messenger bag" or whatever you call those things, so that it doesn't keep falling off my shoulder

But when I'm using it it's great

If .4 pounds makes your bag fall off your shoulder then you need a better strap or a stronger shoulder. Never had any problems carrying my iPad 4 in my man bag and I do so every day going to work!

I think the air is great. Actualy wish the bezel on top and sides matched the mini. The air is a little wider and a little taller.

Way more than .4 pounds. I had a smart cover and a back cover that added a nice amount of weight

The smart case I am using now with my air doesnt add much weight

I added some stuff to my bag so now it's fine

In post #27 the OP wrote: "Well many people in the thread about it feeling cheap agree and have went back to iPad 4."

I went to that Post and counted the negative responses there were 23 out of 98, and of that 23 only about 6 or 7 said anything about returning their Air for a iPad 4.

That does not equal "Many People" to me at all.

First world problem right here....

By definition any subject discussed here is a first world problem. We live in the first world. My guess is they don't have iPads in the third world. This overused comment adds nothing to the discussion and is insulting.

It's meant to be taken seriously.

However, you have to admit that complaining about a messenger bag that's too light and that keeps falling off the shoulders is kind of pathetic......

Additionally, the first world comment is meant to put things in perspective.......

I just love the heaviness of heavy iPads. I bought two of them just for lifting. The thick bazels are so soothing for your eyes.

Have you considered gluing some sheets of lead to the back of the iPad? That would really make it so reassuringly heavy, surely it would then be the best ;).

I thought mine was too light so I glued it to my desk. Now only someone who is worthy can lift it!

I swear that if someone decided to give everyone in the world $1 million, there would be people on internet forums complaining about it.

Nope, I love it - typing in portrait with the full size keyboard is now great.

It's supposed to be insulting, because this discussion is idiotic.

Also, "first world problems" is not simply meant to be taken literally, but means something that is so incredibly absurd or ironic that the mere fact that it's a problem is still quite wonderful.

Based on the idiotic nature of the OP's "complaint", including repeated, simple sentences, like "many other people feel the same", along with people misunderstanding common English phrases like "first world problems", I can only conclude this whole thread is funded from a corporate HQ in South Korea.

Really, "the iPad Air is too light" said no honest person ever.
