Anybody play Godfinger?

Yeah. And did you also see how much more Mana it now takes to charge buildings and how quickly they need to be recharged again?

I really wish the makers of this game would just offer a PAY version so we can earn Awe in gameplay. The latest update includes a lot of cool stuff, but also seems designed to make you run out of the necessaries a whole lot quicker so you're forced to buy Awe. Well, I'm not buying anymore. And I'll remove the game pretty quickly if my suspicions are confirmed and the latest update does indeed ruin all the fun.
 
I'm not so sure I like the update they just released, especially what they did with the rain feature. You now have to have the power bar filled up to 100% before your people will even start to work.

I was in love with GodFinger. Now after his update I hate it.
They obviously want people to pay for Awe now.
I had my planet setup the way I like it and now with how much mana it takes to run things, it's ridiculous.
I think I'm gonna play one last time to unleash a mass genocide on the people of my planet.
You really F'd up a great game ngmoco...

Agreed, the more I play it with the update the more I hate it. I think I'll just use up mana and flood the planet.

One of the flawed concepts in video games are "it's so real, it plays like real life". People don't want real life; what people wants is a reasonable reality that they can relate to and have fun. If you apply real physics to Mario Bros, it becomes unplayable, but if you apply "some" of physics to platform games, it goes the feeling of not-so-fake while still being enjoyable.

Man I wish they didn't ruin this game....I really didn't want to kill everyone ;)
Some of my people were as old as my iPad. GodFinger was one of the first games I got.
 
What if they change it back to they way it was, you killed all those poor people.

Bad god, baaaaad god. LOL

I sent their support an email to let them know that their latest update basically ruined the game and that I was going to destroy my planet, Mawahahaha. If they didn't fix it. ;)
 
Godfinger and enchanting

I play Godfinger on the iPad and I have no idea how to send messages to other players (in game). Since I can't do that I have come here to request that someone enchant one of my followers. Yes, I know it is a pointless grind game, but for some reason I really enjoy it. If anyone is interested I would be more then happy to return the favor.

Please enchant any follower for user "ectoglow"

Let me know if you hear anything back.... I just realized I can revive the people I killed.
Maybe I will give them another change if the game gets fixed.

i'm mkmark on godfinger if anyone wants to be friends.

i'm with you guys, though -- the latest update is a let down. in fact, every 3rd or 4th time i open the app and go into the game, it's missing the overlay that says how much mana i have, what my goals are, etc. it's just missing. odd.

Will do, but I threw all my followers into the water and deleted the game from my iPad. I'm done with it. Basically I'm just playing We Rule now and hopefully any updates they come out with won't ruin that game.

Man that was the first thing I thought about after they ruined GodFinger.. If they jack around with We Rule I'm gonna seriously be pissed!

I'm just gonna delete GF also.. I'm done with it.. It pisses me off that they did this but what are we gonna do.. The new content is a plus but what's with changing the whole mechanics of the game!? I don't get it.

What they did to this game reminds me of the "New Improved Coke" and you see how long that lasted. Anyway, if they change it, I might be back playing, but to be up front, it was getting a bit boring anyway.
 
I played it, but couldn't visit others "worlds."

So, I deleted it and now I'm all about "We Rule."

Same name as on here, add me.
 
When the only viable way to progress through a game is with micro-transactions, I am done.

Seriously, I don't mind if developers offer options to pay real world money to speed up progress, but this is ridiculous.
