Anybody purchase from Adorama or B&H

Purchased my 2017 MBP 13” from B&H because it was the best deal at $200 off. Smooth easy transaction with fast shipping and they’ll take care of AppleCare if you purchase it though them. As good as purchasing direct from Apple, but cheaper.

Agreed - if you're looking for a 2015 Model, B&H is basically you're only option (aside from Adorama)

The 2015 model is more of the same and is a reliable machine (so you'll be fine) I wanted to exchange my 2016 from them a while back for a 2015 model - from my last post, I'm sure you can tell that didn't happen. They offered me an opportunity to exchange it if I was willing to pay a 15% restocking fee on the 2016 model (about $500 from my $3500 machine)

Well that sucks. and Yup these are the two options. Im just trying to avoid the new keyboard and get a cheaper machine. Lots of coworkers have had that gen and it seems to work nicely. Best of luck to me 🙂

PS: i see ur in NY . are there any non techie hipsters that sell their easy to fix MBP on craigslist or local sell/trade sites?
Ive always wanted to try and find a fixer-upper and spend half the money on one of these pricey things

I frequently browse craigslist here in NY - especially for MacBooks. You can find 100 2010-2012 models on any given day. Some that need repairs and some that are just in need of an upgrade.

Usually I to a price match with Best Buy for B&H.

After seeing your comment, I went to bestbuy. But they said they do not price match with B&H or Adorama.
Just thought to share information here for new buyers.

A few months ago I purchased a 2017 21.5" iMac from B&H photo. Shipped quickly and arrive in perfect shape. 2 weeks later, B&H had a bigger sale/discount on the price of the iMac ($100 cheaper than I paid). I emailed B&H customer service and no hassle, they gave me a refund of the difference in just a few days.

I've order a number of items over the years from B&H (Nikon DSLR, two series 2 Apple watches, refurbished 27" iMac back in 2009) and have good experiences all along the way. And not having to pay sales tax has saved me, on top of their competitive prices, many hundreds of dollars to boot.

Is this a right product? Do apple manufacturers this in China? I am worried, so waiting for a confirmation for unboxing.

I've purchased multiple computers and high end devices from them with no issues. At least BHphotovideo. My last was a MBP 2017 15", and it was great. They have a huge store in New York and are highly recommended as a Apple reseller.

I've ordered from B&H and Adorama, online and B&M (born and raised NYer). Both are Apple resellers with long histories.

A few years ago, I ordered a Retina MBP from B&H - it shipped from China, arrived in a few days after I ordered. A few months later, I ordered German-made Beyerdynamic headphones from Adorama - it shipped from Germany, arrived less than 48 hours after I ordered to Portland.

I've ordered from both of those companies for years and have never had issues. One of my uncles lives about 4 blocks from B&H's NYC location, but I've never had to ring him up to bust knuckles. I'd buy from from B&H or Adorama in a heartbeat.
