Anybody recommend headphones?

does anybody have the jaybirds?

I have the jaybird blubud x and they are awesome. I've had Bose, B&O, Senn, sound magic etc. Went into the Apple Store hellbent on getting the Bose or B&W. They convinced me to try the X's as they thought they were the best. They weren't wrong. Superb, and battery lasts ages. You have to try them.

Voice calls and music.....

Got the one below after purchasing, and noticing the sound quality of the Plantronics over the ear headset, and IN ear bluetooth headset were OK, but not great. They both sounded a bit tinie for voice calls, and some of my friends knew I was calling from a headset.

Not so with the SOL Republic. But it's wired not bluetooth. The sound quality is very good, and those that heard me did not know I was using a headset. Music was a tad on the bass side, and the headset was a tad tight on the ears, but after a while I got used to them, and could keep them on longer...

Got them on sale from Amazon on black friday for about $69.00 bucks, but they are more expensive today, at least for the red ones.

I would like in ear headphones please.....

I still like the MEElectronics earbuds. The original M9P can't be beat for the price and the newer ones offer more elaborate fit. I would also check into the Grado natural wood models.

I have the Bose IE2(no mic) and I love them. The bass is great, the sound is crisp and clear with a lot of debt. It was like listening to music for the first time again. And they are very comfortable with apple-like customer service

Head Bose earphones are not good and are overpriced

another vote for the Jaybird Bluebuds X. had them since the day they came out. Use them at the gym and running and I love the quality.

They sound great, have a good range. Battery life is good, although it seems to be decreasing as time goes on. I've owned each model Jaybird has made and each one has been a huge improvement over its predecessor. I can't imagine how they'll improve these, but I'm pretty sure when they do, I'll be buying them.

I'm really hard to fit with earbuds, and for me these are no exception. Others are worse though - the new-style iPhone earbuds fall right out of my ears, for example. I use Comply tips on them.

If you use your iPhone as a media player while exercising, doing stuff around the house, etc., wireless is a HUGE advantage.

MEElec

+1 MEElec. They have a variety to fit your budget and sound great. They really seem to know what they are doing.

I will be using these earphones with my iPod nano or classic, at the gym and out about

To each their own but I think the sound quality is great. I tested multiple and chose Bose for the dynamic sound and comfort. Go to bestbuy and test a bunch. The ones people have recommended here are klipsch, Bose and the jaybirds. Test them for yourself instead of going with the rumor mill. We told you what we prefer I'm the range and why and there's a great group of options. So go test them out

hmm problem is in the uk you can't test them out

apple shop only allow you to test out over the ear headphones due to hygene reasons...

I got the HK BT headset for $50 when it came out with my employee discount at Apple. The 3rd party manufacturers love to kiss the bums of Apple retail employees. XD

B&W P5 Headphone

I can definitely vouch for this product.
The Bowers & Wilkins P5 is most assuredly one of the best "mobile" headphones designed for daily use.
And by daily use, I mean an over-ear headphone meant for on-the-go purpose and nothing else.

I too, was on the look-out for the best portable head-phones and having had the Dre Beats Solo, Beats MIXR (David Guetta Edition),Beats Pro, SMS Audio's STREET head sets I felt something was lacking.

Don't get me wrong, they are all good but to me they just weren't good enough (most of the times with an exaggerated bass).
I was happy switching between them until I got the iPhone 5 (now replaced by the iPhone 5S) and that is when I decided to find myself a good set which could give me a rich immersive experience.

These headphones (P5) aren't cheap, but I can definitely say that they are well built and they do offer an unique design which is then translated into a rewarding experience.
Simply put, it has a rich and well-balanced sound.

You can google it out and you'd find loads of reviews for it.
One beautiful review of this headset is by Tyll Hertsens and you can read that on here.

And finally I have to say this and I will stress on it; At the end of the day you have to choose what is best for you and not what others say.
This is a subjective opinion, and, like the saying goes 'One man's meat is another man's poison', everyone will have their opinions.

Some will agree with me, while some will not by recommending something else.

The point is that you should walk into a store and try them out. Let your ears be the judge of what you want and seek.
And when you do, you will find yourself the answers to your questions.
Peace.

I got the Bose AE2W bluetooth headphones and I am impressed. Sound quality is very good and the headphones are comfortable to wear. Charging is also no problem and the Bose headphones offer the option to listen to music with a cable connected, if the battery of the bluetooth module dies. Really nice touch.

Sorry i wanted earphones...not headphones.

Yes, I saw that you want earphones but it was too late :)
Maybe someone should change the thread title.

Yes, I too agree that the title header is distracting and needs to be changed.

Sorry i wanted earphones...not headphones.

It is alright mate. I did get confused with what you were asking. And even some of the comments made on this thread suggested you wanted a pair of headphones.
:D

I need some new earphones and i have a good budget of £100-£130....
what do you recommend?

are the jaybird blue bud x any good?

can't go wrong with klipsh s4. quite a bit below budget as well. They still amaze me after 3 years+. comparable to my $400 ultrasone pro 900s. might be able to find monster bullet golds if you're lucky.

aaaannnnd just saw your previous post. nvm

does anybody have the jaybirds?

I have the Jaybirds Freedoms 3, very good Bluetooth earbuds but the battery barely meets my needs. The warranty is quite nice too, and sound quality is not bad but if you're coming from pretty decent headset or have lossless quality files, you're going to be disappointed. After all, Bluetooth is quite limited and the ear buds do have 6mm drivers.

hmm yeah the battery is putting me off

don't want to have to charge it often especially with me taking these earphones everywhere

might look for some wired ones....
