Yes, it can be readded even if YOU changed it!
They won't. Your data plan was changed against your wish. If you willingly give it up you can't get it back.
Mine was removed by choice in May 2012 due to a conversation with an AT&T rep over the phone and I changed to a data pro 5gb plan... They said the mobile share plans would have ample gb options... Nope, they had a paltry 20 gbs max when they first started. I called them again and they said wait a little bit longer, larger plans were coming out... I asked if they were still affordable and I was advised that they would be... Fast forward may 2013... Larger mobile share plans came out but were SUPER expensive. Called AT&T and requested my old unlimited plan to be readded. No luck, had claim 1 opened. Was rejected. Sent second claim. Was rejected. Sent claim 3 and gave them specific dates and requested a supervisor callback. That was today... Nobody called me back but I did get a closed claim number email notification. Went online and voila! Well over a year later and it's back, just like I thought it would be. Persistence is the key, well that and some evidence helps, too.
Claim Rejection:
Dear Larence,
Thank you for contacting AT&T regarding your unlimited data. My name is John L. and I will be happy to assist you with your inquiry.
You can write to the Written Correspondence address on your bill. They have the same processes and authority that we do. I will let you know what we can do for you. There is also an address on our website in the Wireless Customer Agreement. Section 1.4 states: IF YOU DISPUTE ANY CHARGES ON YOUR BILL, YOU MUST NOTIFY US IN WRITING AT AT&T BILL DISPUTE, 1025 LENOX PARK, ATLANTA, GA 30319 WITHIN 100 DAYS OF THE DATE OF THE BILL OR YOULL HAVE WAIVED YOUR RIGHT TO DISPUTE THE BILL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY LEGAL ACTION RAISING SUCH DISPUTE.
I am sorry, but we are unable to make or send any copies of the notations on customer accounts.
There are notes from August 2012 where you inquired about our Mobile Share plan but no mention of your unlimited data. There was an upgrade on this line in September, so the same plan was updated at that time. There is only one communication about your unlimited plan which is the one cited below.
In May 3, 2012, you changed to the DataPro 5GB plan as your usage had been throttled on the unlimited plan in each of the two preceding months. The representative that you spoke to noted that more than once it was explained your unlimited feature was expired and grandfathered and that you understood and decided to make the change.
Larence, if you have any additional questions about this issue, please respond to this email. Thank you for choosing AT&T; we appreciate your business.
Sincerely,
John L.
