AnyFont Allows iOS Users to Install Custom Fonts for Use in a Variety of Apps

Why do I feel like Apple won't let this stay too long in the App Store....

The user just needs to be aware that they need some license to use the fonts. For example, there is a ton of fonts on your Mac, but you only have a license to use them on your Mac (because Apple paid the font developers), but not on any other device. I think Microsoft has made a significant number of fonts freely available so that web developers can rely on them.
