Back in the late 90's I was already tired of hearing anything by Limp Biscuit or Red Hot Chili Peppers and that dang Californication song.

I still like Nirvana and Pear Jam and Mudhoney and all those other Northwest Grunge groups as long as they are not played endlessly on a continuous loop to the point of annoyance.

Now it's all about The Adventures Of The Rain Dance Maggie!

What's that song 'i need a dollar dollar a dollar is what i need' , that is way too overplayed as is Lady GoGo or whatever its called with that country type song.

I need METAL! and rock, and I am stuck in Germany with nothing but that and David Hasselhoff :p

Isn't that what every country song is about? ;)

I don't listen to radio much...my combination of my iPod and Pro-Clip make it not necessary....but when I do, the alternative (I use that term loosely) station in Houston plays Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Under The Bridge every hour it seems. Let's leave the 90's where they belong and join a new Century, please.

Nothing wrong with music from the past as long as it's a) good and b) not overplayed. Agree there is a lot of good new music that is overlooked.

Thankfully with the era of digital music players and streaming music services that is an option to avoid autotunitis.
