iPhone X Anyone been shocked (electrocuted) by their X?

I have the xs and it shocks me all the time. If I have my headphones it it’ll shock me through my headphones (and people I’m on the phone with will hear an electrical sound) if I’m holding it it shocks my hand or my ear until I put it down what do I do?

Is the phone connected to a charger when you are getting shocked? Could it be static electricity if the phone is not connected to a charger? If the phone is connected to a charger, is it an Apply supplied charger or a 3rd party charger?

My wife has the older i Phone X but is thinking about the Xs and need to know this information please.

Not shocked as in surprised, shocked as in your phone has zapped you at any point. I had mine on charge using the cable I recieved with the phone, charging it through a MacBook Pro. I just got a pretty decent shock on my leg when it was sitting on it.

Is this something common enough that it’s not something to worry about? It definitely wasn’t a static shock because it lasted until I moved the phone. Am I just a good conductor?

Hi I have this happen to me a lot lately, I thought I was going nuts until you basically describes what happened to me except my charger was in the wall and I sit it on my bare lap for whatever reason at that time. But I just had it happen to me again and thought let me google it FFS. So I should be concerned? Or at least that is the vibe of got from you guys, and like he said it is definitely a shock like it makes you jump or it makes me jump, I thought it was an issolated situation and people would say I was nuts but maybe it’s a malfunction that others are also experiencing and just haven’t said? Prettt weird I’m gonna take someone’s advise earlier for Genius Bar??
