Anyone Choose Silver and why?

I ordered the silver on preorder day and been using it up until last night when I found a SG 128GB 6S+ in stock. I went and exchanged it and I am much more happy now. Silver just seemed blah.....

I've tried Gold/White and the Silver/White on the 6 Plus, it was okay but didn't really like white bezels. So I went with Space Gray 6 Plus. I also went with 6S Plus in SG as well. It's just personal preference. Some will like white fronts, some will like black fronts. I prefer the black.

I switched to white/silver with the 5. My 5S and now my 6S are silver. I just like the white front and the silver makes it look clean and classy, just like my MBA.
 
Had black phones up until the 5. Went Silver/White from the 5S, 6 and now 6S Plus. Very sleek, modern and classy combo IMO. The 5S was the nicest by far, chamfered edges that sparkled and the touch id ring. So nice. 6S Plus doesn't have as much "shine" but it's still an awesome phone.

Can't wait to see what iPhone 7 has in store.

I got the Space Gray phone this generation for exactly the same reason - I wanted my main personal devices to match!

This. I had the exact same experience; now I can't stand black bezels because of how much they show fingerprints and since I'm a silver/steel guy - not gold - I'm stuck with the silver iPhone. It matches my SS Apple Watch and link bracelet, my titanium wedding band, silver cufflinks, MBP, etc.

I wanted a changed from black which I have had since the 3G.
I don't like the pink or gold body. That left silver.
 
I have always been biased towards Space Grey. I think it's very handsome, and I think it goes with everything. I have never been one to like gold, or to like anything that stands out. Gold stands out too much for me, but silver is too bland. I think space grey is the perfect happy medium.

Considering that three out of the four iPhones have a white front panel, I wouldn't call the black-fronted phone 'a happy medium'...

I had the white iPhone 5 loved it cause its really good at not showing any marks/scratches... but I don't like the black band around the bezel and screen, so I went for space grey this time. Hopefully Apple can change the design on the iPhone 7 so we no longer have that horrible black band.
 
I had the space grey 6+, but since I have always had space grey/black iPhones, it started to become very boring and stale to me. I went with a silver 6s+ and I love it. I put my Apple black leather case on it and it looks pretty slick. I think it is good to switch things up a bit.
 
I've always had the black bezel and I've recently caught myself admiring the white faces of my friends' phones so I thought I'd try it this year with the 6s. I like the silver and gold equally and I'm not a jewelry guy so I could have gone either way but decided on silver.

The warmer display of the 6s turned out to be a problem for me. I also have a Speck Candyshell Grip that I use on occasion when I know the going is going to get rough. That case is white with black grip stripes. So I have a white bezel and a white case showing me what white is supposed to look like and my display not living up to it.

Needless to say I took advantage of the 14 day return period and swapped out for a space gray. Couldn't be happier. Bezel aside, I'm pretty sure I got a cooler color temperature screen this time around and the giant dark blotch in the upper left corner is MIA.
 
Silver somewhat interests me, but I like how gold pops when you look at the touchID button. Being that I am going to have my phone in the Apple Leather case, the front is what will stand out with that case. Saddle brown Leather case with gold band around touch ID looks hot. I can't say that brown leather case looks as great on silver iPhone IMHO.
 
My work phone is a gold 6 Plus. I needed something that differentiated it, though I didn't want a black bezel (reminded me of the problematic 3GS I had that I ended up shooting a 30-08 through). Silver runs a theme between the two, along with having a nice steel kind of touch to it, especially paired with a black leather case with the bottom exposed.

I got silver 6s+ because it hides those ugly bands a bit better than the other colors. And I like how the silver touch ID ring goes against the white home button.

But I plan in getting a rose gold 6s soon. Just can't resist that punk.
 
I chose Silver 6s plus because I was tired of space grey. Besides the mac has a silver back so that goes well. Also, a week after my 6s+ purchase, I was able to buy an iPad Air 2 (sealed) for $280 so now everything matches hehe
Or it's my OCD...
 
I came from two consecutive black phones so I needed a change. Gold was a little too bling bling for me and Rose Gold was a little too pink for me.

I had a silver iPhone 6 Plus and I preferred it because it has a white face and I think silver looks best with different cases because it matches the best.

I only have a gold one now because that's what AT&T insurance sent me.
 
I had a gold 5s and 6, had a space gray 6, had the 6S in rose gold and returned it for a silver. In my honest opinion the silver is the absolute best. Why? For some reason it is way more grippier than the other colors.
