Not even sure if its worth it cause maybe its not using up that much additional battery with LTE on.
I mean I do get fast HSPA+ speeds with 8-9mbps that I could be fine with 3G too but mind as well get the superfast speeds. :)

Agreed. I'm managing to get down to 40% battery every day, which i hope will improve once I become less obsessed with playing with it.

I'll 100% turn it on when I'm traveling to AT&T LTE areas.
 
yeah, i definitely will always leave lte off. I'm a graduate student, so 8-5 i'm on campus connected to wifi. And at home have the fastest speed available from uverse. So LTE is not needed for me, my ip5 lasts 2 days easy on one charge since my LTE is off.
 
Even with LTE turned on all day, my battery life seems to be even better than the old iPhone 4, and it wasn't bad at all. So, yes, LTE will be left on. And it's so much faster than vanilla 3G.
