If I didn't have my 3200mah battery case I would have the same issues as OP. This is my first iPhone (regular 6S) and first phone with a battery case. On a typical work day I have plenty of power left when I go to bed (90% with spare juice in battery case). I only activate the case at 20% and it stops once the power draw is very low upon reaching 100%.
In anticipation I bought 3 spare cables and a number of regular cases but I don't need them. I only plug my phone in one time and that's while sleeping. Solved my charging OCD problem big time. And the phone is the right thickness and provides good protection.

Really did not need a lesson on OCD. Seems like some here are OCD about correcting others. I believe the OP used the term while describing themselves. I am not a believer in this perfect little PC world.

It's not about being politically correct, it's about using a term correctly so that you (in the general sense. I don't just mean you specifically) don't sound ignorant.

i am weird like that as well. just today i didnt leave on time cuz it annoyed me that it wasnt at 100% yet. 99% to 100% always takes forever and then i plug it in at work around 70% and only unplug it once i leave. anything below 30 % makes me nervous. i even got two battery packs :D one for up to 2 charges and one for up to 4 full charges.

i also keep checking what app is draining how much and if i can disable something to improve it. hate myself for it lol

how people manage to only charge once a day let alone over 24 hours is beyond me. my iPhone was at 73% by the time i got to the office today and its only 2 months old. 3rd time charging today

I always charge it when I'm in the car or at home; basically whenever it's convenient. I find that that keeps the battery well above 50% all day.
