There was good news and bad news, got there about 2 hours early so we were first in line.

Even at the Best Buy on 23rd St in NYC, a little town you might have heard of, there were only a couple of people activating iPhones when I passed through around 1pm today. The salespeople were conspicuously antsy, even calling out "iPhones for sale right here!". It was kinda sad.

At least BB takes returns with no restocking charge, and usually with no argument. Apple and AT&T can't touch that. And I get 1% back on everything that I buy at BB, plus I get discount coupons fairly often too (not good on iPod or Macs, but good on Airport/Time Capsule, software, etc).
