All the negativity in this forum has been getting to me, and I know that usually only those with issues tend to speak up.

So... Is anyone truly happy with their iPhone 5? I sure as hell am. The phone feels like a rocket sled when it comes to speed; all the little pauses I used to get with my iPhone 4 are completely gone.

The camera is beautiful and the built-in speaker is louder; you can actually hear it when you play a video for people in a noisy room. LTE data and Wifi are both ridiculously fast and reliable.

The taller screen makes apps that require a lot of scrolling a pleasure to use, such as AlienBlue, TweetBot, Mail, Safari, etc...

Maps has been very good to me. I used navigation three times this weekend and was amazed at how intelligent it is. I like the fact that you can lock the phone and it will "wake up" half a mile before your turn, then turn off the screen once the turn is complete. Very intelligently designed.

The nice black matte finish looks great and the phone feels good in my hand. Though I *am* still going to get a case because I'm worried I'll drop it...this would be true for any phone, though.

So, anyone else as satisfied as I am? I'd love to hear more good news.

Completely? Not sure about that, there are always potential improvements. But in general, I'm quite happy with it. I'm annoyed by the need for an adapter to connect to it, and that I haven't received my order of them (and frankly, that Apple couldn't include one in the box).

Other than that - so far, pretty satisfied.

I love my new white iphone 5. It is simple amazing. The only thing that could be better is battery life, but at least it is better than on the iphone 4s. I wish technology would allow a full two day usage..

My iPhone 5 completes me. LOL. Seriously though this is not only the best iPhone ever, it's the best phone ever. I am a phone whore and have had GS3, HTC One X, Droid RAZR, and iPhone 4s all in the last few months. i5 is leaps and bounds better.

As far as the negativity. Those with issues always are the loudest and don't forget the faux complaints from other platform lovers. When you come to a forum and see Android this and Android that, you know Apple is number 1 or they wouldn't be here.

I upgraded from an iPhone 4 as well and have to say I'm completely satisfied. Don't seem to be having any of the WiFi issues either.

I am very happy, but the 5 is my first iPhone and extended experience with iOS. In other words, the entire adventure is new to me, and it is a pleasure. I'm sure I would be a bit less enthusiastic if I were upgrading, especially if from a 4S.

I am very happy with it. You have to remember that this place is like WebMD for hypochondriacs. Whatever little thing that people think is wrong with their phone, they are likely to find someone else here that already posted about the same thing. If you are happy, that is all that really matters.

Love mine! Black 32GB here and i don't have any of the "issues" that have been cropping up in these forums. I've been caseless since I received mine on Friday and not one scratch!

I would have to say I am very happy with my new iPhone. It is amazingly fast and the screen is just gorgeous. I would give it an A- at this point. The maps will need to evolve, but I already have other Nav apps, so I can be patient while they improve that part.

Best iPhone ever.

I am completely happy with mine. Love it in fact. The design is great, so thin and light. And the larger retina screen is amazing. Battery life has been great as well.

Can't wait till more apps are available to use the larger screen and for AT&T to roll out more LTE.

Black 32gb on Verizon and for me this is an ideal phone and I could not be happier. 4" screen is big enough for me, Verizon LTE is awesome, the light and thin design is perfect for portability, camera is awesome, battery so far has been great for an LTE device, overall a great package. They need to get Maps fixed and there are always things they could improve upon in the OS but overall this phone is something I will be carrying for awhile. :apple:

+1. Very happy & impressed w the phone. Gets better the more I use it and realize how good some of the features are, like the camera. Like navigation, speed, automatic brightness control, facetime over cellular, iMessage between iPhone/iPad/Mac. Built quality on my white 16GB is awesome. Display is gorgeous, deeper blacks, very rich realistic colors. Retina display is amazing. Voice quality is great. Speaker sounds good. Earpods are a big improvement.

I'm coming from a series of Android phones which always sounded good when I bought them, then managed to underperform. Buggy, periodic reboots, lousy cameras, lousy battery life, having to manually manage power & memory usage.

Agreed, can always have longer battery life. Always.

I am very happy with it. I used the GS3 for a month (returned it yesterday) and I was very happy to have an iPhone again. I liked the size of the GS3, and I like the size of the iPhone 5. It is nice having easy 1-handed usage. They still could have gone bigger, but no complaints here.
