I am more than thrilled. It came flawless out off the box, none of the "scuffgate" bull crap. From a 4 to a 5, the speed difference is unreal! Amazing. I've had a business phone with LTE for a while, so I knew what I was getting there. But the speed of the entire device is amazing. No joke, as the old joke goes, but safari is way snappier!

I am ecstatic about this upgrade. Coming from the original ip2g, this is absolutely a stellar phone. It's definitely a whole new experience for me. Good job, Apple!!!!!!

Really love it. Lighting (pardon the pun) fast.. great screen.. great camera.

Personally, I wish they would have put in a slightly larger battery but I can live with this.

Also wish they had put in some type of e-pay system (NFC, bluetooth, something) that could also be used to share photos, etc, like the SIII. Again, not a deal breaker but would have been nice.

Love the phone! :)

Passbook is the new e-pay system eventually. And photo stream is a new photo sharing for Apple.

Love the phone, love the screen, love the new connector.

Passbook has potential, though it is a long ways away from being very useful.

Going to an Apple store to get it swapped for pre-damaged antenna and the wifi issue. But this will be my wife's phone in about a month so I'm test driving it over my Nexus.
If all you had was iPhone/ iOS this is a great upgrade. But as a Nexus user it feels like a downgrade. Biggest issues for me is small screen and boring OS. Almost forgot about Maps. It's like navigation in space. Also only a handful of apps take advantage of the display.

So, anyone else as satisfied as I am? I'd love to hear more good news.
And I thought you'd say how great ASF sounds on it (inside joke)

Loving mine so far - a very solid improvement over the 4S. Only thing I can't get used to yet is the decrease in weight and slight shift in center of gravity. I nearly dropped it once because of that. No complaints though. I think it's a fantasic device.

They had me at LTE

I upgraded from the 4S, and I love the iPhone 5. I don't want to put it down because I love how it feels in my hand. The lightness and thinness are terrific as is the build quality. The extra screen real estate is wonderful for everything. I'm looking forward to all (most) apps being updated for the 4" screen.

LTE is the killer feature for me. On the 4S, the 3G speed in my office was almost unusable. On the iPhone 5, I'm getting around 14mb down and 6mb up. Around town, I get anywhere from 15mb to 40mb down and 20mb to 25mb up. I'm getting battery life on par with the 4S which I find to be good.

I got the black model, and I love how much more sleek it looks to me.

I'm very happy with the purchase.

I just put mine through the paces. Everything seems to work fine. I upgraded from a 4, and this thing is blistering fast in comparison. My games load almost instantly, and the frame rates are smooth as butter. Certain games got a little choppy at times on the 4.

Worth the $180.

No complaints here, love it.
Same with my wife, think she loves hers more even.

My only complaint is LTE coverage stops about 5 miles from my house, but that AT&T's fault, not the phone.

I absolutely love my iPhone 5! It is SO much faster than my iPhone 4, I love the better camera, and as someone else mentioned all the little pauses are gone.

I would also mention that I have gone the whole weekend putting it in and out of my pocket, setting it down on surfaces, etc. and I have yet to notice a single scratch or defect anywhere. I don't know what these people do to their phones, but my black iPhone 5 still looks absolutely perfect, and I'm not seeing any of these scuffing issues at all.

My only very minor complaints are the connector and maps. I understand the reasons for upgrading the connector, but I can't use my Griffin AutoPilot kit until I get an adapter (or maybe not even then?). I haven't actually noticed the terrible problems that some people are mentioning with maps, but there are a few things missing here and there. I have to say, though, that the UI, graphics, and smoothness of the new Maps is really top-notch, so once the data catches up (and it will) it is going to be a great app.

I love my new white iphone 5. It is simple amazing. The only thing that could be better is battery life, but at least it is better than on the iphone 4s. I wish technology would allow a full two day usage..

Agreed. Love mine but the battery life on LTE isn't very good at all. Shame.

Technology does allow it, but phone manufacturers seem to prefer a weightless phone with a sucky battery than pump up the battery life.

I upgraded from the 5 to the 5s. Definitely notice the speed difference & as a huge hobby photographer, I just LOVE the camera/flash upgrades. The fingerprint sensor is just fantastic (once I remembered that I didnt need to swipe anymore!). Now just waiting for them to add that to the mini because swiping & entering a password seems like a hassle now. ;)

I agree with that decision 100%. Of course I'd like more battery but not at the expense of weight. If I need more battery for a particular reason (if I'm traveling a lot that day) I'll a) bring an external to plug in to rejuice it, b) bring my charger with me, c) get one of those battery cases.

I LOVE the phone light, even when I put a case on it. My husbands 4s seems SO heavy compared to mine.
