I agree. I mainly use the iPhone apps on my iPod... I check installer everyday for new apps but most of them are just updates for current ones.

iApp-a-day! is totaly useless, sure its cool hes releasing a app a day, but the apps are crap. You shake your ipod and the leaves come off...then it snows.... wow. I'm sure if he spent all of that time to develop one good app, it would become way more useful.

I use MSN, and i have a @msn.com account for it, so Apollo nor Chat works for me... Chat worked once, and that was a flook. I still have them installed so when they get updated, I'll know right away through installer...

Only apps I use are Mines, Lights Off and NES... and the controls for NES are pretty bad, but I'm not complaining for that, It's still playable and I know its new.

I also use @msn.com for email, could you let me know how and where you installed it so that I can do the same? Thanks

Adding MSN

Someone added @msn.com and I was hoping that they could tell me how they did it, since I use msn for email as well. Thanks!

The IPT/iPhone hacking scene is still young, so it's understandable that the apps wouldn't be THAT amazing right now. Really the only ones that I'm actually disappointed with are the IM apps. They're missing so many basic features (like buddy list editing) that they're hardly worth using. Hopefully they'll get better though.

agreed. the only ones i want/use (besides the iphone apps) is an IM client app thingy. and it is terrible, its very buggy, it's slow (which i guess is buggy), there missing easy features i would like, they can't show it when the other erson types an apostrophe etc. i hate them.

Yah, really the only hacked-in apps that I use are the iphone apps. There really aren't any 3rd party apps that I like that much.

i think Apache is one seriously underestimated application....
i keep heaps on ebooks on Touch (landscape orientation still beats eBook app), railway network maps, timetables etc...
I dont know if people realise you DONT need wi-fi to use Apache? Install - yes, use - no.

and I believe since the eBooks app works with Plucker, you can take web pages with you to read offline. I could see myself (when I get a Touch) taking the Wikipedia article of the day, etc, with me every day using the ebook app with Plucker. Or can I do that with Apache?

hmmm that i am not sure about... to use Apache you need to be able to download a file into the Touch's folder, and i dont know if this could be done with web pages...
