like i just got back from mcdonalds and i could tell both employees had a hard on for it and lately i've been getting glares and ooh and ah's from random people who see it.

In a way I feel empowered now when I go out, anyone else kinda feel the way?

Wearing an Apple Watch in McDonald's must be like wearing a Rolex in a real restaurant...

It's been noticed a few times. Not many watches with a band this blue color. But I don't feel like it makes me special.

Not Me

I've been out a few times since I got my watch this Monday but no one, so far, has noticed. Granted, I haven't been too visible in retail locations so maybe that's why.

And here I was thinking thinking I'd seen Prince Harry in a McDonald's in Northern California wearing an Apple watch...

hahaha! Best response in this thread. Really though, it's a new tech toy. Of course people will be interested, but royalty? Having a hard-on for it? Don't think so.

While I am excited about the watch, give me a supercar or the new Yamaha R1M & some open track any day of the week. Much more exciting and they will turn far more heads than the :apple: Watch ever will.

Is there any way to favorite this thread? I feel like royalty when a homeless person asks for change. I just tell them "sorry bro, no cash, I pay for everything with my gold Apple Watch peasant." Then I feel bad and throw some foie gras at his face.

Like that OP?

Do you feel like a Burger.... King!? :D

Got a chuckle out of this.. Royalty? Really? It's a toy like the toy you get from a happy meal. Watch out for the doorway when you walk out ok?

It depends on what you've got going on in your life and how you validate your existence.

Too philosophical too early in the morning?

I meant:

"Lol yeah"

- Enjoy the watch dude!

This thread made me chuckle :) But yeah, I know what you mean. I wouldn't say I feel like royalty wearing it, but I certainly feel conscious wearing it when in public. Partly because it's the shiny new Apple iThing which not many people have yet, but also because I've never owned such an expensive watch before (last one was a Swatch!), and I feel like I'm walking around with £600 strapped to my wrist! Starting to get used to it though.

The only place our Apple Watches have been recognized and noticed so far is at the Apple Store and only by the people who work there, when my husband and I went in to purchase our AppleCare for the watches.

The resounding response of anyone else who has had the opportunity to see it so far?
