. Note: If you are swapping this device for use with a different wireless number, you must bring both this device and the device assigned to the other wireless number to an AT&T Retail Store to facilitate this change.
As a reminder, we authorized the funds to cover your purchase when the order was placed. However, your credit card will not be charged until the order is shipped.
Activating Your New iPhone
1. Charge your iPhone. If you charge the battery while syncing or using iPhone, it may take longer to charge.
2. Launch iTunes.
. Download and install the latest version of iTunes from
www.itunes.com/download .
. Connect the iPhone to a USB 2.0 port on your Mac or PC using the cable that came with iPhone.
. Follow the onscreen instructions in iTunes to register the iPhone and sync the iPhone with your contacts, calendars, and bookmarks on your computer, and with music, video, and other content from your iTunes library.
3. When activating the iPhone for the first time you will create a new Visual Voicemail box. You should complete all the steps for the existing voicemail messages prior to activation of your iPhone. Once your iPhone is activated, all previous messages and greetings will be lost.
4. You can activate online at att.com/activations or by calling 1-866-895-1099. Be ready to provide the number you want to activate and to accept your service terms and conditions.
5. Turn on your new iPhone after it is charged to make a test call by pressing and holding the power button for 3-5 seconds. If your test call is not successful, wait one hour to allow the activation process to complete then try to make another call.
