I will be buying the iPad 2 as soon as I can. Could care less about the specs. It will be better than the original and I have waited almost a year. Not waiting any more.

Will be my first. I never really saw the need until so many quality music production apps started popping up. I realized how many of the apps I use on the iPhone would be way easier to handle with a larger screen, plus I really want to incorporate TouchOSC into my live sets. Can't freaking wait. I may camp out at the 5th ave store depending on how they roll them out.

Held off on getting the first one, so will definitely be getting the iPad2 or whatever they are planning to call it...

Yeh Idk if this will be my first iPad. I'm interested definately, but there are a few others out there that may be better for me in the long run. If :apple: comes out with something crazy awesome then it'll be hands down iPad 2 for me.. but if it's just a gradual update thing..... might be looking elsewhere.

I'd love to see a much more powerful device I can use as more than just a large multimedia viewer. Widgets would rock along with other fun stuff. :)

Just think, at this time next year we'll be in that camp considering our options and stressing over 3rd Gen updates. ;)

Turns out you are exactly right! I considered going with the excellent deals on Gen 1 iPads but using my imagination I keep coming up with reasons to justify wanting the cameras, faster cpu/graphics, and the smaller form factor - that last one is tougher to make important to me - but it can be done.

Will be my first. Have wanted to get an Ipad for the last year, and I was finally able to buy one this month, and thankfully the Ipad 2 was announced just in time :)

I plan to use it as I would our 10" laptop, and I also plan to take it with me everywhere. Though we don't have service for Verizon or AT&T, so I will only be able to get the Wifi version.

It'll be my first iPad.
I've used my company's iPad for a few weeks and LOVED it. I've also got a Galaxy Tab that was given to me by a coworker, but it doesn't get used at all. My children won't even touch it. LOL
They LOVED the iPad though, as do I.
I can't wait until we can order the iP2

I like the iPad 2 and like that they kept the same pricing model but added some nice hardware upgrades. Right now, for me, it's between HP's TouchPad and the iPad 2. I have a feeling the iPad 2 will win out.

I have been waiting to get the iPad 2 for my first tablet because I wanted a camera for facetime. Now the only thing I have to decide is if the display will bother me or not. I have looked at it a lot and I don't think it will, but I don't want to regret my decision a month down the road.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_6 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8E200 Safari/6533.18.5)

This is going to be my first tablet also. Not sure when I'm buying it though, as soon as I have the money, between July-December.

I for one, am going to be sticking to the even refresh cycle of the iPads, just like the way I'm going to be sticking with the even refresh cycles of the iPhone.

Yeah, the iPad 3 next year will have a retina display, but it will still be the same design. The iPad 4, in the following year, will continue having retina display, and a new design.

So, iPad 2 sometime this year, and iPad 4, sometime in 2013. Even if I get the iPad 2 at next years clearance price, I will still be happy. :D

Yes. For me, I've always waited until the 2nd generation of an Apple product or at least until they start showing up on the Refurbished Store site and then read what the reviews are at that point! iPad 2 will my first, white 64Gb AT&T 3G version.

What do you mean by, the display will bother me or not?
