Not only am I constantly still hitting the top of my phone, but when I do realize it's on the side, I'm constantly hitting the volume buttons too for leverage.

Ugh, first world problems!

Yes. I accidentally hit the volume buttons and have to think now when switching to iPad. I don't understand why iPad has the button on the top but the phone now needs it on the side. Strange decision and a mistake in my view.

I wouldn't say I hate it, and I actually l Ike the fact that it's not on top, for durability reasons. I will say, though, I also keep hitting the volume buttons for leverage, and even though I'm pretty used to the placement, it still feels a little awkward.

I'm adjusting to it, but yes, I've run into the problem where I go to click it and my other fingers are on the opposite side providing leverage and I end up clicking the volume and power buttons at the same time, and the phone interprets that by obeying the volume control button click and ignoring the power button click.

You mean the power button? Nope. Works much more naturally when using 1-handed. It takes less negotiation for my thumb to reach it than it did for my forefinger to reach the top (previously).

Although it works better for 1 handed use, I know alot of us still reach for the top!

I wish it could be used as the shutter in the camera mode. Maybe they can put that in a future update so you can toggle it on in camera settings.

It only took a few days to stop going towards the top out of habit. But I too have found myself unintentionally pressing the volume button on the opposite side when trying to hit the sleep button.

I actually like it on the side. Coming from the Galaxy S4 and the S5 that I had in the past, I actually liked it on the side. I can use either hand to hold it. If I hold it with right hand, I use my thumb to hit the sleep/wake button. If I hold it with my left hand I use my index.

The only issue I had with the S4 and the S5 was the button click was so soft that yes I end up hitting the volume button first. But not with the 6 Plus.

We hated each other at first, yes. Now, after hashing out or differences, we're the best of friends.

Getting used to it but don't like it. I'm also constantly adjusting the volume. Have to think about hand placement all the time.

Got used to it in the side now. Easier to hit on the 6's now instead of trying to reach for the top.
