Not only am I constantly still hitting the top of my phone, but when I do realize it's on the side, I'm constantly hitting the volume buttons too for leverage.

Ugh, first world problems!

The human brain is quite remarkable in it's ability to adapt. Others have already and you eventually will too.

Hate it!

Hitting it all the time when trying to change volume.

Put it back on top of the smaller phones, Apple.

I dislike it too. Windows phones are perfect in this regard.

For me it's not a matter od adapting, but comfort. It's just not comfortable.

I don't like the location of it either. Maybe they'll return the button to the old location? Wishful thinking..

It's certainly more comfortable than straining to reach the top of the now bigger iPhone once you kick the old habit of hitting the non-existent button.

Didn't claim it wasn't. Just think it could have been more comfortable if they had dropped it a little lower, based on ym experience with other devices.

Right handed use, LOVE IT!
Left handed use, HATE IT! - It's awkward and I hit the volume buttons.

Wouldn't change it though. Thought I wouldn't like it but it was a smooth adjustment.

I did not like it at first but it is growing on me. Only problem I am having is that I sometimes change the volume while squeezing the sleep button sometimes.

On top of the phone is too far to reach!

They had to move it because it would look stupid alongside the camera protruding

Didn't have a problem adjusting. Took a day. And I've had an iPhone since 2007. They didn't have to but it inline with the volume buttons I agree.

I always hit the volume buttons for leverage when trying to hit the power/sleep button!! It's super annoying. I like the location better than the top, but having the volume buttons directly across from it is becoming a challenge.

We have used the same button location for 7 years, as everything it takes time to get used to it, at first you will think it is the wrong location but after some days or weeks of using your new iphone 6 you will think it is a good idea to locate the sleep button there.

Sometimes I push it to take a photo and I turn off my iphone, but every day you use your new iphone you will understand and don't push that button.

Because of the new size of the iphones it is the best location because nobody has fingers that could push the button while you hold your iphone normally.

I can't type properly one-handed with my index finger on the volume button so why are you touching the volume button at all? Just train yourself to place it below the volume buttons (or even keep it on the back of the iPhone).

As a leftie, I hit the volume button with my thumb, not my index finger, as I try to turn off the phone with my index finger... works perfectly fine if you are using the phone right handed but a super pain in the butt for those of us using the phone with our left hands.

I do dislike the new location, though I do like that because of the new location, the iPhone 6 and 6+ is more easily serviceable.

I was use to it being on the side because I had a Note 3 which has it in the same place as the iPhone 6+. So it's great to me!

On the 6 I can (and do) wrap my 3rd, 4th, and 5th, digits around the back of the phone and under the volume keys. The index rests on the back, and the thumb engages the sleep/wake button.

Not sure if it would be more difficult on the 6+? I really like the new position of the sleep/wake button.

While I do enjoy the new layout of the 6 plus at times I also hit the volume or sleep button by accident. Few times while watching video in landscape mode I shut the phone off.

I don't hate the location. However, I do find it very annoying at time when I'm on the go and trying to lock my iPhone in a hurry. I suppose we'll all get used to it in time, though.

Nope, I like it. Only problem is when taking pictures and using the volume buttons. Just have to remind myself to not press on that section (I use a Supcase Unicorn Beatle case so you do not really feel the buttons protruding from the phone).
