Mainly seeing if anyone else feels the same way and what they plan on doing about it. I got my 128GB gold iPhone 6 today, and even it feels way too big. I much preferred the 4in screen of previous models. I am going to try and stick it out through the return period to see if I can adapt to it but I am leaning towards returning to my iPhone 5 or getting a iPhone 5s so I can have touch ID. I don't really want to go to Android, so I feel stuck. I hate the idea of buying a phone over a year old but it might be the best option for what I prefer unfortunately.

You have a legitimate grip but you might be in trouble. I think the future will only have 4.7 and above so your 5s might be in its last years.

I think this guy does.:D

That stinks. I have an iPhone 6 and while the size is different (I literally opened the box, looked at the phone, put the lid back on, flipped the box over to check to make sure it wasn't a 6 plus) -- I think it is going to be the best size iPhone yet.

I'm sorry you don't like it. Maybe give it a few days and see if it grows on you (pun pretty much intended).

iPhone 5s is great phone. Fast, reliable, compact. Great screen, great reception, great voice if you are on GSM.

Hopefully I can get used to it, but so far not very happy with using it unfortunately. Just feels clunky and hard to hold. Much more cumbersome than my iPhone 5

Go to android and get what? Aren't the good android phones all at least 4.7" or bigger?

You could try a case with a slightly curved back, that might help with holdability and if you like the iPhone 5S you probably won't might a tiny bit of extra thickness. Not sure what is out there yet.

Now that Apple has seen the light and gone with bigger screen sizes i suggest you suck it up and get used to it because you wont find a decent phone with a 4" screen anymore. 4.7" to 5" is the sweet spot for phones anyway.

Using the leather case Apple sells for it at the moment, can't imagine a bigger one helping, I already feel like it is too hard to grip securely as is. Hopefully I am just overreacting and I'll get used to it as I think otherwise long term I am screwed.

Try getting use to it or live with the smaller Iphone till it is no longer able to be updated with forthcoming software upgrades down the road.

You aren't screwed. With people wanting the new phone and not always being able to get one right away you are in a good position to get your money back and buy a 5s.

As excited as I was to get my 6 Plus this morning, I have to say that after a day of using it, I'm a little disappointed I didn't go with the 6. It's a beautiful phone & just using it for email, internet, apps, etc. is awesome. But, as a phone & carrying it around on a day to day basis (& trying not to drop it), I feel like it's probably too big.

I'm going to stick it out though, hopefully I'll get used to it! ...either that or I'll just have to break down & get a purse to carry it in. :p

I'll admit it is a big adjustment going to the 4.7 as I loved the size of the ip5/s. But it's not inconveniently big at 4.7" so i feel I'll get past it quickly

Give it time,u should adjust.I debated between the 6 and the +,GLAD I got the 6.Used it for a half of a day and and the one handed texting needs some getting used to,it showed me that using the + wouldn't work for me,that's for sure.

Remember in the 90s how phones became smaller and smaller?

And then in the 00s Apple did the same thing with the iPods to the point they were mocked for it on SNL.

I could see it turning around again if a company like Apple made a 3.5" phone again that is impossibly small--like just the display with almost no bezel and thin, with the same sloped design of the iPhone 6.
