Off the bat, no. But when they tried to fix my issue several times and failed to do so.. that's when I broke the news to then. Mind you, I've been planning this and working this for 2 months.. so I had time to take it slow. They might still with with you for a quicker experience.

oh i went to a store and called the retention department TWICE. about to shoot an email to Dan automated now lol

Sold my 4s early last week but not suffering quite as badly as some--using a Galaxy Nexus until Friday. I wanted to hate it but don't. It's a solid phone and Jelly Bean is certainly capable but it's just not the same, especially considering I've had iPhones since the original.

To say simply i feel iOS is about making simply things simply, but at the same time it limits you when you try to do more than what they envisioned. Where as Android might make certain simple things a bit more complex but where you want to do more complexed things it lets you do them easier. Sort of like how a GUI is easy to use for some tasks but the command line sometimes is the best way for other tasks.

Very true. Limited is a good word for it. The ability to tinker and play around with Android OS is nothing short of awesome. I suppose more times than not, it comes down to who is using it. I myself didn't do anything to my Android handsets beyond rooting them and a few custom ROMs from time to time. But there is A LOT there as compared to iOS.

What carrier? I'm using a vzw now and my 4G cuts out a lot. I turn off LTE and use 3G and its fine.

I am using a dumb phone right now cuz I sold my 4S last week. Everywhere I go, I have the urge to check Facebook/Twitter and check in on Foursquare but I can't do jack **** with my old ass 1999 flip phone :(

The iPhone 5 cannot be delivered to my house soon enough. WHOSE WITH ME LOL!

Try 4 weeks I forgot the feeling of having a smartphone I have missed so many important emails.

Biggest plus for me is that android works as a USB storage device. Plug and play no hassle no need for an app.

My coworker has to send work PDFs to his dropbox or emails himself before he can read it on his ipad. I just plug my nexus 7 in.

Nope, not worth selling my iPhone before the new one arrives. I don't understand why ppl do it.

I no longer have a need for USB storage 99% of the time. Too many more convenient online options.

I hear that man. I'm using a 15 dollar POS Samsung flip phone until my 5 comes in, and sometimes I get text messages from my co-workers regarding emails that I never got.... irritating.

for those who are using older version of iPhones, COME ON MAN!!! lol. at least you're still using an iPhone. Most of us here have been using phones that are a lot older than iPhone 3gs :p

They want to use the money to buy the 5

Sold my Wife's iPhone 4 and gave her my iPhone 4S. Using a Samsung Focus S with windows phone 7.5 now. It's actually quite usable. I can't wait for the iPhone 5 but at least I don't have some old crappy phone in the meantime.

I spent 45 minutes yesterday looking for a Wells Fargo when I was away from home. It is amazing that no one knows where anything is. Stopped at 2 gas stations and a Safeway. Got wrong directions every time and finally stumbled upon one myself.

Another drag... Bought a pay as you go phone and ATT (without my permission) removed my unlimited plan. I had to call and complain for another 30 min.

So far I estimate I have wasted at least 2 hours + in frustration without my phone. Next time I won't sell my phone early. IT ISN'T WORTH THE FEW EXTRA BUCKS YOU MAKE.

I'm having Siri withdrawals LOL

I bought 3G, 3GS, and 4 on launch. Had to wait 2 months for the upgrade to get the 4S. Got the best buy buy back program on the 4S(64) so I traded the 4S in at the beginning of June for a $450 best buy gift card to use toward the new model. Figured going back to the iPhone 4 wouldn't be so bad as the jump to 4S was not that dramatic.

I was wrong. Going back a model is aweful. It's very slow. I think iOS 5 was just too much for the A4 while driving the retina display.

Also aweful is being stuck with best buy this go round. Been reading nothing but horror stories about "pre orders" (reservations) being filled weeks after launch.

I will NOT be getting the buy back program this time around. Don't want anything to do with best buy when it comes to iPhone launches. Plus, when giving back the phone for a buy back they will lower the value for even very minor wear/surface scratches. I was lucky I kept the 4S in perfect condition for the 6 months I had it.

I'll be getting my iPhone 5 whenever best buys has my reservation.........gulp.
