Mine didn't work either. I created an account, but it doesn't let me sign in. Most of the time when I open it it just shows a screen that says it is sorry, but it can't process my request at this time.

It worked perfectly fine this morning when I downloaded and used it.

Not working tonight at all. Most likely server/traffic issues on TWC's end. Not a great way for them to start.

Which sign on?

Can anyone tell me if you are supposed to use your user name and password (which I use to pay my bill, change service, etc.) or create a second new one just for this app? I tried my usual TW sign on and it doesn't work.

Same here. At first I got only one channel (Hallmark HD) which came in perfectly today. Then no channels, then about 14 channels with the unavailable at this time message for all 14 channels.

I agree
Especially because they just sent me this email:

Watch live TV anywhere in your home with the FREE TWCable TV app for iPad. As a Time Warner Cable Video subscriber, you won't miss a minute of your favorite shows, no matter where you roam. Tune in and learn a new recipe in the kitchen or watch a movie while you're relaxing on the deck.

Live TV on your iPad from Time Warner Cable. Download the app free from the iTunes® App Store today (keywords TWCable TV) and make any room your TV room.

LOL

It says that I'm not using an authorized cable modem, which I am

WTF is going on?

Call TWC. I did. Still not working properly but the rep did call me back and said he will follow up with the "corporate" office and get back with me.

I understand that tech support "tier 3" is handling these iPad app issues.
You should request that level of support when you call.

I think the servers might have been jammed. It worked great for me earlier this afternoon but I kept getting the "we are unable to complete your request"

And now it's working off and on. I think I am only seeing 14 or 15 channels here in the Dallas area.

Really don't understand the allure/need for this app. You can't watch beyond your home wifi signal, so where are you supposed to watch? The bathroom?

This app is cool for a number of reasons.

1. It's a live HDTV you can take anywhere in range of your home wifi. You could. Take it into the bathroom, kitchen, garage, back yard etc etc...

2. You throw on some headphones or stereo Bluetooth and watch tv while others are sleeping near you or watching another channel.

3. With how locked down cable companies have been regarding mobile devices this is a great step in the right direction.

And this is only the beginning. TWC has big plans for this app.

Had a bunch of channels this morning although I didn't count them, now I only have 14

time warners customer service is horrid and their signals sometimes is straight dog shitm so dont be surprised this app crashes constantly

I don't understand people who don't understand - it seems very simple to me. We have one TV connected to TWC cable. Wife likes to watch her shows (Bridezilla) and I like to watch completely different shows (SyFy, Discovery and Travel Channels). So we're both happy. What is hard to understand?

Just a few issues for me. Occasionally it can't find the channel or it may stutter so that sounds like bandwidth service issues. It only gets the HD channels and then not all of them - BBC America HD not on it yet or local HD stations. It's great for watching in bed or in the bathroom and keeping a disaster feed going.

Seems like they are trying
