Gave in and reserved a black one. I was pissed though... so pissed that I couldn't give Apple my money fast enough!

I'm still on the original iPhone since day 1 of release so this is killing me to wait further. However, with all the problems of the iPhone 4, and the free bumper/case offer only lasting until Sept 30th, I wonder if they wont release the White version with some minor internal updates to fix the issues around that time.

Especially given Jan 2011 is the rumor for Verizon to get the iPhone, they may have an iPhone 4+ version they rush to market. Technology adoption is always a gamble when to buy as something newer is always around the corner. So for now, I will wait...

I gave up and ordered a black one on Saturday morning at an AT&T store. Still hoping after I get it that the White is released within 30 days so I can return and get white.

I'm going to give in and order the black from AT&T this afternoon. The white would have been nice, but I really don't want to wait until "later this year."

The white one is dead to me, so I'm going to put my name down for the black iPhone 4.

I ordered a couple of iPhones on Saturday for my wife and me, but I think I will not keep them. I just tried to cancell and the guy said they have to come into the store before I can do that. When they get to the store they can be returned right then.

I really want the white (my wife too) and the 3g works just fine for us. This will push back our contract, but we will probably skip the next revision anyways.

Then again, when I hold that box at the store (i am sure thats what they are thinking) it will be hard to give it up ;)
