I neglected to also note that your comment on the lack of ports and using one adapter to overcome that limit (which is fine, obviously!) but to any future buyers: You have to purchase the correct type of adapter; most generic, low-cost adapters don't carry the full power you need to power some peripherals. I know this from experience. I bought an adapter (didn't know any better) and lo! a handful of accoutrements won't work because they're not plugged directly into the computer - which is fine for data transfer but bad when you need to charge or need power over USB. :(

I'm no res geek but the screen is still pretty poor..... 1400x900? Plus it's a TN panel? No thanks. It wouldn't be that difficult to have a screen close to 1920x1080p and an IPS display. And from what I've read the 13 inch Macbook Pro with retina display lasts as long if not LONGER than the 13 inch Air with better specs and the better screen.....

Actually no, it does not last as long as a MBA due to simple physics. You want to believe in magic fine, but don't discuss magic with a scientist.
