I neglected to also note that your comment on the lack of ports and using one adapter to overcome that limit (which is fine, obviously!) but to any future buyers: You have to purchase the correct type of adapter; most generic, low-cost adapters don't carry the full power you need to power some peripherals. I know this from experience. I bought an adapter (didn't know any better) and lo! a handful of accoutrements won't work because they're not plugged directly into the computer - which is fine for data transfer but bad when you need to charge or need power over USB.
