How do you do it?

----------

Yes I've had that issue...there should be a tweak that let's you dismiss it or it should push the screen down like it used to when you had a call.

I have Tapatalk but never use it. I tend to use the Photobucket app to host my pics, and then hit copy/the bottom link and paste in the thread.

It really isn't a difficult task. You can add a picture in safari. Even on the mobile site.
Take a look at the OPs track record he seems to like making big deals about nothing.

I'm not making a big deal about this, just a casual discussion.

Probably disabling them might be the better way to go in that case. Doesn't seem like there would be a better way to notify beyond that (unless we are talking about LED notifications or perhaps status bar notifications).

Or a highly transparent banner notification that I could click through. That way I could still see and read the notification and pull down the notification shade for quick access to them but still have access to whatever it covers up.

Not sure how good the readability would be like that. I've seen transparent things like that and either they are good enough to read what's in them but not really deal with what's behind them or you can see more of what's behind them but the readability of the notification itself is that much worse.

Now you can pull then down to see them or swipe to dismiss them, so there's that.
