Anyone else think they should make a 17" Matte with black bezel?

yeah, I agree. It should have been black as well. I'm a big fan of the black bezels and they do seem to tie in well with the rest of the theme. I'm not sure why apple chose to keep them silver, but I guess they have their reasons. They've also kept the MBA silver as well from the start, Not sure of their reasoning behind that one either.

well that is certainly your opinion. Doesn't mean your right, and certainly doesn't give an explanation to why they would make some silver and some black.

NOOO LEAVE THE SILVER BEZEL DAMMIT. especially if they make 13" and 15" with matte I hope they have silver bezel..

if they did make a matte display with a black bezel, i'd be typing on a 17 inch with that config right now. that'd truly be the best of all worlds.

+1. Bezel for the design, matte for the functionality. Why thats not an option? I don't know.

Yes in some bright situations glare occurs.....but I think that is wiped out by the fact a matte screen in the same situation just looks washed out....and to be honest....a bit old fashioned looking.

Well if you dont need all the functions of iphone or smartphones then why not stick to your Motorola Startac. Never liked Motorola phones but the Startac always seemed good. However when it comes to staring at a screen for hours on end....well a glossy screen is much better than a matte one anyday .....well i think so anyway.
