I don't want the actual design style to change. Merely slight dimension changes if any are to occur.

I prefer phones that have straight, sharp edges instead of curved edges the way some android phones are. Looks more professional imo.

The title of this thread made me laugh. I've been jonesing for a new iPhone design soon after I purchased my iP4. It's impossible for me to use without a case and the screen is too small IMO.

every time I take it out of its case I think, "D___, what a work of art!". I know many criticize the fragility or don't like the design but I think it is just lovely in form, feel, etc., with the glass/aluminum, shape, and weight of it. It just exudes quality and top-shelf design.

I feel the exact same way about my black iPhone 4. I love the design so much that it makes me want to use it without the bumper, but I want to protect that design so much that I use the bumper. :p. I have a black bumper because I wanted to keep as much of the design visible as possible while offering some protection. My main focus was not having to place the glass directly onto a surface when setting it down and the bumper elevates the device and was basically designed for that. Its perfect. I actually dropped my phone on the pavement on two occasions where it flipped and flopped etc. I picked it up and the phone was pristine...not a scratch anywhere....but the bumper was chewed up in the corners. It did its job - - it was obviously field tested :). But getting back to the topic at hand. I like the design of the 4/4S so much that I may not upgrade to the 5 either. I just got the new iPad a few weeks ago, and I find that I barely use my iPhone now, so it doesn't make sense for me to upgrade anyway. I would upgrade once the iPhone reaches actual point and shoot camera quality - to replace my dedicated camera, or once the IOS and most apps arn't supported on it anymore. Other than that I'm happy with it.

I could care less about the iPhone 5.

I'm more interested in iOS 6

I have no interest in upgrading from my 4S. I love it and it does everything I want it to do.

Don't get me wrong, I love my 4S and I loved my 4. But I've got a feeling that Apple will hit one out of the park with the 5 or whatever they decide to call it. Ill have to have it.

I can fully appreciate that some love the current 2 year old design. Fortunately if you are one of those people, and have a 4S, you're good for quite some time.

The iPhone 4 was a real dud, for those of us that got early models with Antennagate issues.

Once my iPhone 4S arrived, I was so relieved. It's a terrific model, it's capable of making phone calls just as it should. It has never been without a signal, like the iP4 was. My old 3GS was far better than the iP4.

I'll keep it, unless Apple actually has the courage to go to a larger display. I know it's in the rumor mill, but with Apple I will only believe it once I see it. :)
