Hello,

seem to be having trouble connecting to 802.1X networks from day one with a new 2023 MBP running 13.2. I mention eduroam because many universities have an eduroam network.

No issues with 2020 Intel MBP running 13.2. The issue is that I can't establish a stable connection -- there seems to be a brief connection for ~1 sec after attempting to connect, then I lose the connection. The computer keeps cycling the connection endlessly.

Other wifi networks (home network, a guest network at my university that does not use 802.1X) are fine. I am guessing the problem is with 802.1X because of correlation but I don't know for sure.
have installed my university-supplied 802.1X profiles.
no university-installed security software, no third-party VPN or antivirus software
have taken to my university IT folks and they can't figure it out.
have tried booting into safe mode and trying to log in as a new test user, no luck.

Anyone else with success (or problems)? Thanks in advance.

I ended up exchanging the MBP for a new device and it has been working without issues. Strange error.
