My closest store is about 160km away from me and I’m 16 so can’t drive, I haven’t dropped it in water I’ve been fairly careful with it. And even so shouldn’t it be waterproof?? It was happening about 2 hours after I got it out of the box.

Do you take it in the bathroom to listen to music while in the shower like my son does? Even the steam can cause condensation damage. It's not waterproof, just water resistant. Show your parents, ask them to call Apple for a replacement or have them drive it to the Apple Store.

Oh yes I did on the very first day, surely having your phone in the same room as a shower doesn’t make it void the warranty especially for a waterproof phone,

Stop thinking of it as waterproof. That’s not what it’s rated as, and that’s not what Apple calls it.

It’s water resistant, which is very different.

Also, Apple explicitly doesn’t cover water damage.

7th issue? Wow. Never had a problem with an iPhone screen. Once I had a speck of dust in my iPhone 4 camera. I'd bring it back and I am sure they will replace. 7 issues though... might want to sit this one out.

To me seems like a water damage, that steam into the camera. Most likely Apple will refuse if they detect water damage.

iPhone X is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_Code). You'd have to drop the phone into more than 1 meter of water and leave it there for a while to get this level of water ingress.

Either OP is lying about dropping it in water, or they bought the phone from a real shady dealer who is reselling damaged phones.

That's not a poorly installed screen protector? As for the water damage, will be tough to proved it arrived like that. I would call apple and have them send a replacement since you can't drive.

The phone can totally handle this, it can stand submergence in up to 1m of water for hours. I brought my 7+ into the shower with me to play music and answer emails (don’t judge) everyday for a year with zero issues, not a single one.

My 8+ and my X held up so far doing the same exact thing

..unless you have AppleCare+

Right, I believe AppleCare + does cover water damage

Don’t want to be one to complain but this is the 7th issue I’ve had with this phone and was wondering if it’s normal wear after one day. Also what do you guys do about weird condensation under the camera lense, been there since I inboxed it and the Face ID hasn’t worked because the camera is so blurry so I can’t set it up.

looks like the phone has been put in boiling water for some idiotic youtube video stunt... that would explain the warped screen corners and the CRAZY condensation in the camera lens. absolutely no way this came like this out of the box...

I never once put it in any sort of boiling water! Only water contact made was with the steam when it was sitting on the sink about 2m away from the shower

I can imagine that this must be frustrating. Whatever the cause, something is wrong. It could it be a manufacturing defect, or it could be something was done to it before or after you received it. If it's a manufacturing defect, then you'll have to return it. Only you know the answer if you did something and don't want to say it. Or maybe someone else took it and did something to it without you knowing. From looking at it I think it will be hard to convince Apple this happened as part of normal usage.

It looks like water damage. I would take it back to an apple store and honestly explain what mistake you made and expect their mercy. "I put it on the sink 2m away from the shower" story wound't work though.

Just noticed mine peeling also.
