Why would the AF test ppl for HIV? I thought you're not allowed to have sex with anyone while you're on duty/on base... or something like that.
All of the services test for HIV or conduct HIV screening as they call it.

You are still a human being when in the service ... and while you cannot have sex "on duty" (which really means at work," you are allowed to have sex.

HIV testing is mandatory every two years in the Army.

When I was AD, we were tested annually during our flight physicals. Looks like it's changed.

You can still get tested anytime you want, correct?

I really hope that you're aware that there are other ways to become HIV+ besides via sex.

Sex, Oral Sex, Needle Sharing, Coming in contact with infected blood. Am I missing anything?

EDIT: oh yeah, you can also be born with it, but it's unlikely if the mother is treated for it.
