I really don't care about your thoughts on e-bay. They are irrelevant. I have bought a lot and sold a lot on eBay. 1 to 2 issues and never one about not getting what was expected. If I have doubts I ask the seller before purchase.

When I get the case, I will honestly post back here to let everyone know.

You do that.

While not neoprene, I've had a Byrd & Belle felt sleeve for my iPad Air for a couple of years and its great quality and I think they look fantastic. I already ordered the simple felt sleeve for my rMB. They are currently shipping this week.

Has anyone found a super slim profile Neoprene sleeve, or something similar yet? I like the idea of the Radtech, but would be nice to have something slightly (read: VERY slightly) more padded than just a piece of cloth. Plus I've always hated that Radtech sleeves slide in horizontally, which is so ridiculously stupid as it leaves the entire spine of the laptop exposed. Horrid engineering. This Crumpler sleeve was so perfect for the Air, but they don't make the sleeves anymore.

Ideas?

This isn't out yet, and isn't neoprene, but I've been happy with Tom Bihn sleeves.

Wow, that's the best sleeve I've ever seen, very svelte while actually providing some real edge and corner protection. Thanks for posting the link. Too bad its so expensive, but it might just be worth it. I guess I have a bit to decide since there is no 12" rMB version yet.

Thule also makes good options.

I found that the case I had for my Surface Pro 3 in leather fits the Macbook perfectly. So obviously it's a SP3 product, very slim but putting in the power adaptor and cable may be a bit of a squeeze. Made by STM.

Money saved :)

Sleeve

I bought the AmazonBasics 11.6" sleeve and it works fine. It's a little big, but not terribly so. Plus: it's very cheap!

I'm using the Acme Made Skinny Sleeve:

Has anyone heard of any issues with the magnet in the incase Tensaerlite sleeve? Wonder if the current 11" macbooks sleeve would work.

I have the acme made sleeve on my 13 rMBP and love it, how's the 11" MBA case fit on the rMB? I was considering this option but looking at the dimensions I was concerned it would slide around a lot

Those look awesome, but expensive. Aren't there any similar ones on eBay?

I'm watching this one, eventually there may be a 12' option:

I'm waiting for this one too. Sometimes they offer discounts around the holidays in December.

I use the Acme Made Skinny sleeve for my rMBP 15.
It is the non-retina sleeve so a bit bigger that the retina.
Which suites me fine because I keep it in my laptop bag for extra protection.
Easy to slide in and out with one hand.

I have ordered the Acme Made skinny sleeve 11
Good price for about $11 shipped.

Dimensions
Macbook 28.05 x 19.65
Sleeve 29.95 x 19.20 inside

Also cover with Best Skins Ever matte - but not the trackpad.

My cousin is very happy with the Incase TENSAERLITE sleeve for his rMBP 15
No magnet issues

B&B are designed and made in the USA, I doubt the eBay ones are. That explains the price difference ;)

Surely, that's why I prefer eBay ones. As long as companies are not violating international labour laws I couldn't care less where they are made.

Wasn't trying to lecture or anything, let us know how the eBay one looks!

SFBags makes a very nice, very thin ultrasuede sleeve that provides a little more protection than cloth. It comes with horizontal or vertical openings.

I've been a big fan of SFBags. Their stuff is so nicely made from top quality materials. Fit is always precise, not too loose, not to tight. It's super durable also. Finally, just like Apple, they have world class customer service.

Am thinking of ordering the gold version. eBay shows the estimated delivery as 2-18 June. My MacBook is showing as 1-12 June.

Wonder which will arrive from China first..........my money would be on the the case beating my gold rMB!

I like these Urbano cases:
