It is now five days since I submitted my customer service ticket to Incase, with no response other than the automated email I received initially. I emailed them on Wednesday--no response. I emailed them again just now, essentially telling them I will be returning the Maki sleeve and buying another company's product if they don't respond today.

This may well be the last Incase product I purchase. Judging by a post above, it seems at least one Maki sleeve fits the iPad 3 with Smart Cover, but mine definitely does not. Way too tight to get it in all the way, and near impossible to get out without using a great deal of force!

I will report back if they suddenly redeem themselves, but otherwise, I cannot recommend this case, nor Incase itself, to anybody.

Just like another poster above, this has been a major inconvenience, since I have been unwilling to carry my new iPad unprotected when out and about this week.

PS: I'm tempted by Incipio's lineup. Their products look great and I'm hoping for better customer service!
It's been 7 days since I emailed, 11 days since I ordered the thing. No reply or any sign of anything.

Feel like I keep bumping this thing but it seems the only way for me to keep updated in any sense, and also to see if anyone else has any similar problems.

Something in the FAQ about it taking 5-15 days for International, now whether that's to despatch the thing or for it to arrive I do not know, but I'll leave it til 15 days before I email again.

If I still have no luck, is there any way I could sort it with my bank to block any direct debit from them so I could put the debacle behind me and get another one elsewhere? It's a long shot but I know the Apple store stocks Incase, you think they'd ever help out?

Hope none of you encounter this problem.

I can't help you with the banking question--hopefully somebody with knowledge of that area will help. But I sympathize--I am returning the Incase product and ordering an Incipio sleeve. Hoping for a better experience from the latter company.

I'm mean it's a but tight but I think it will loosen up over time.

Some of the angles are redundant with the smart cover which I'd rather use with horizontal.

The vertical position wouldn't be useful for anything as I'm sure it would fall over if you typed on it.

I'm loving all 3 covers I've bought I think I've made a great choice, hate bulky covers and can fit it in my bag easily, not worried about scratching now with the best skins ever and smart cover is great.

Well only neg about the smart cover is the extra weight an you have to take off the cover to take a photo

Maybe it's going through to spam. Did you try and see if they have a contact form other or try another email?

I received an email back from them saying it had been received and was waiting to be reviewed. I can go to the website where I can see my ticket posted with a time and date, just waiting for reply. I entered my order number in and it says 'Sorry this item hasn't been shipped yet', which I think it some sort of update because before I don't think it even acknowledged I'd ordered. Either way still here with no case or confirmation of shipment.

Whichever way you look at it it is shocking business and customer service.

Ah well.
 
So I was literally bringing my packaged-up Maki sleeve to a UPS drop-off when I received a shipping confirmation from Incase. Still no communication from them beyond automated emails, but I presume they're sending me a replacement.:confused:

Very bizarre, but I'm waiting until the new one arrives (supposedly tomorrow) before deciding what to do next. Maybe this one will be fine.
 
I got an update! Of some sorts anyway. A letter arrived this morning from Parcelforce informing me that my case is at their Liverpool depot. But before I can get it I have to pay £10.08 Import VAT! This is as well as the £8 Parcelforce are charging for the admin of the thing!

Surely the $25 I paid for International shipping should cover this? I am extremely disappointed and annoyed but with the shambles that is their customer services I'm going to go ahead and pay the fee because I want this debacle to be over.

I am right though in thinking (before I email) that I should expect to have the import fees paid if I'm paying $25 dollars for international shipping?

Ok apologies. It appears I was still liable to pay any charges incurred at customs. It depends on price and context of goods.

I posted a thread on Incase forums and now fe rather sheepish about is. Mind you so what, it's been a pain from start to finish.

Ah well $55.71 and £18 and three weeks later I have the box sat on my lap.
