Of course it's the same battery. But if it's not searching for LTE it can save battery life. :apple:

Could anyone who knows what's going on with this on at&t side, please help me out?

If I were to get an iPhone 5 A1428 currently from a corporate store, would it be capable of working on T-Mobile?

Also, will the phone have any sort of bloatware when buying it form at&t instead of the Apple store?

All things being equal, the only way the LTE uses more battery is if the signal is weak. It would also use more battery if LTE is turned off and HSPA+ signal is weak. So, if the LTE signal is strong, there is no saving of battery power by turning it off.

If it's recent stock, say within the last couple weeks, then yes. If it's old stock, then no. You'd have to check the serial number to be sure.

No. The software wil be the same as that of an Apple Store-bought iPhone.
