yeah I'm shocked how quiet this board is rn given there's a new iPhone.
granted, its an upgraded 8 but still... its a newly released iPhone.

Yep! It’s everything I hoped and expected it to be. Moving from an original SE 128GB in Space Grey it’s fantastic. I sold my 11 Pro earlier this year as I just couldn’t justify the cost but this is the perfect phone for me. (Replacement is 128GB in black).
Well, I'm toying with selling my 11 for this, so I'm really anxious to hear people's thoughts.
My prediction: You sell the 11, buy the SE, like the SE, decide in a month you don't like the SE, sell it, buy an 11 Pro Max, realise you don't need that and an iPad mini and sell that.

Well thanks! I'm glad you can see the future, and you may be correct. I'm definitely searching for my sweet spot in terms of devices because it has evolved some over the last couple years for a few reasons.
I definitely love the idea of a smaller phone, although I'm certainly not sure how I'd like it in practice after years of a big phone, although I think it would be somewhat refreshing.
One positive is that I'm gonna be getting my granddaughter a phone later this year, so the SE would have a home even if I decided I didn't like it, and since I would be highly likely to upgrade in the fall if I keep my 11, there really wouldn't be any harm done.
It’s a brand new genuine Apple case but yes from the 7. Can’t beat Storm Grey IMO.

My white 128 SE just arrived!
This thing is an absolute beast! It's so freaking fast! Feels faster and snappier when swiping between screens and menus than my 11 Pro did. I'm not exaggerating. I can certainly tell the difference. Probably because of the smaller screen size and less resolution that it has to process.
It's literally the fastest iPhone I have ever played with.

I'm curious if the cellular reception is better than the 11 series. I could give up a LOT of other goodies to get better cellular reception.

Honestly, I don't really think so, but doesn't the SE have some upgraded internals as far as wifi/cellular? I just don't understand the jargon, so have no clue if it's really better than the 11 in that respect.
Yea disappointed there aren't separate threads for who you ordered from. Tried to do Apple but it kept erroring, so I went through Verizon.
Yes it has WiFi 6 and different LTE bands. Your location and WiFi setup will determine if you can make use of them though.

Unless you want a much smaller phone, I think this is a recipe for disappointment.
