I'm just curious if anyone is planning on getting the 512GB models and paying the extra $200 premium + tax on them? I think I am just going to get a 256 GB model again and maybe next year the 512 GB will be a little cheaper.

The only reason I am doing 512 is because I am in the upgrade program and it's just an added fee to my costs each month. I would never flat out pay for the 512, I'd by a laptop.

I do plan on keeping it for at least 2 years. My current iphone x has 256g and now it’s 70g remaining. I think I would need 512g for 2 years of usage.

This type of unnecessary swapping out is going to make Apple reduce their generous return policy or just raise prices even more

I have a 8+ 256 gig now, and it's full, I have like 5 gigs free.

Thinking of going for the 512 gig tonight, it does seem stupid expensive

But I travel allot and put tons of movies, tv shows, music, etc... on my phone plus have about 100 gigs of photos and videos

Half the time I'm traveling there is no reception, so the whole stream it and cloud doesn't work for me.

Nope, I only stream porn, don't download it.

512mb here. I take a lot of photos/videos and refuse to put them on the cloud.

Normally I would go for maximum available storage, but 256 has served me well so far. I'm better than I used to be about moving things to the cloud as well as backing up to storage at home.

Currently have the X and I'm only using about 20 GB. It would make sense for me to get 64 GB but in reality no, because that leaves me roughly 35 GB space. Which doesn't leave much wiggle room in imo. I'll be getting the 256 GB XS Max Space Gray.
