As the title, Is anyone getting the 7 over the 7 Plus? I've hardly seen anyone saying they were getting the 7?!

My main reasons:

1. The 7 Plus is just too big personally for a phone. I can hold the device fine but it doesn't feel stable and feel like I may drop it at any moment. By the way, I cam coming from a 5S here.

2. The 7 is cheaper (Bonus any day!)

3. Can't get a reservation for the iPhone Upgrade Program for the 7 Plus, but have managed to get a reservation for the 7.

The super large screen and the dual cameras are the two factors that keep trying to pull me back though.

I hope I can resist.

Uh, yeah. 7 on order here. In 2016, given the competition, the plus is stupidly huge for the screen real estate. Regular 7 isn't leading the charge, but it isn't quite as bad comparatively. Keeping the 6 design for the 7 and plus is a crazy choice for Apple. They can do so much better. The question for me is why aren't they? Profit only? Remember when we believed Apple when they said they only wanted to make the best products, period? Yeah, that's a distant memory for me too.

I think the 7+ is better in every way aside from it being massive and not great to use one handed. I prefer the size of the 7 and easy to keep in my pocket. Having said that I'm going to have to stick to the 6s until the airpods come out.

I thoroughly agree that the 7 Plus is better in every way but it is that one thing that's drawing me back to the 7, SIZE. It's soo annoying but I think it really is just too big and i'll be able to use the 7 much easier on a day to day basis.

7 buyer here. Just boiled down to size for me. I had the 6 plus and switched to the 6s when that came out, the plus was just awkward for me to hold and use. Features are great and the camera is better, just not practical for me so 7 it is!

I guess I can have a year of using the 7 and then after that it won't be as big a jump to the Plus size if I want to for next years model.

I can use the 7 with one hand - my coffee is in the other hand!

I've wanted to get the plus for 2 years, but both times chickened out on the basis of practicality. This year, especially with the introduction of the Apple Watch series two with built in GPS, I'm finally trading up to a iPhone 7 Plus. I also used to wear skinnier jeans a while ago though too. I'm super excited to make the change!

Had 6+ hated the size. Went to 6s and very happy. Now 7. If apple made the size in between he two I might consider it.

Massive in the pocket. Always sticking me in the side. Cannot one hand it. Easy to drop.

If they could take the 7. Remove the home button and stretch the screen to the edges.....PERFECT!

We're the silent majority. Lol. Seriously does anyone know the split in phone numbers between the regular and plus sized models?

I'll never get the plus until they shrink the bezels. Don't care about the price difference.

I have a 6s plus in a mophie case and I can still use it one handed. But I have large hands. I most definitely got the 7 plus. I love the larger phones.

7 on order with a Friday delivery. Not interested in the plus. Too difficult to carry in pocket.

went 7, i want the dual camera and screen and battery life, but i love one handed usability more. Next iPhone if they shrink the bezels ill swoop it up.

I was on the iPhone 6 a couple of years ago. The size was PERFECT. The size, shape, slimness, weight were all perfect for one handed use.

A year later, I made the mistake of upgrading to a Nexus 6P. The phone itself is decent. However, the size and weight were alien to me and needed some getting used to. Regularly dropped it on my face when texting in bed until my muscles calibrated to the new shape and weight.

All that said, not making the same mistake again. Dual cameras, extra gig of ram and more battery is definitely tempting, not forgetting the higher resolution screen but form factor above all. The 4.7 inch iPhone is the best phone I ever had the pleasure of holding. Ironically, I've pretty large hands.

+1 Just coming off 2 years with the 6 Plus and switching to the 4.7 inch 7. The plus size when you're using it is great. However, carrying it around on a day-to-day basis is a pain. I'm a guy and my phone lives in my pocket for the most part when I'm not using it. The "Plus" size is just a a bit too large to fit comfortably in my pocket. I'm really looking forward to a smaller more "pocketable" phone.

I can one hand the Plus but it's still too heavy and considered going back to the smaller phone. But I've adjusted too much to the Reachability feature where it drops windows down half way and that alone helps a lot.

Now if they can just make the Plus less heavy or put a flip-up hook to get a better grip holding onto it all would be better.
