I had the 6 Plus for a year and i am SO GLAD to be going back to the standard size with the 6s.
The 6 Plus is just too big. I have an iPad, i want my phone to be more portable and not so cumbersome.
Its just not comfortable to use with one hand, and didn't fit into the phone pocket of my backpack, and a bunch of other reasons. I am MUCH happier with the standard size

I did. I still think a phone with a screen in between the two would be perfect, but I wanted the additional screen size and battery capacity. I'm enjoying it so far even though I can clearly see why it's too big for some. I have no problem fitting it my pocket. It is tougher to use one hand but not impossible. I think it really depends on how you use it. With Bluetooth and texting, I don't talk as much on it. Those that do or use it to work out with it will probably benefit from a smaller size.

Had a 6, got a 6s Plus, and exchanged it today for 6s. I had screen envy of my coworkers who had the 6 plus for the past year, but after actually using it for a day made me realize that it's just too big for me and I'm much happier with the standard size. Of course this is personal preference so it's good we have options.

I want the 6s Plus for the OIS, but I hate how cumbersome it is for me. Really was hoping the 6s would have the OIS, Gus's now I'm hoping the 7 will have it.

I'm thinking of doing the same. OIS and the screen size are nice, but I just can't over the bulk of it. How difficult was the exchange and did you just walk in and ask or was there something special you had to do/ask?

Thanks!

I just made a reservation online at the Apple Store to buy another phone, and when I got there told them I wanted to return mine first. The whole thing took 10 minutes once I got in the store. I paid full price though so if you had a subsidy or installment plan, etc it may be more complicated.

Went from the 6 to the 6S Plus. Don't think I will ever go back. Everything else feels so small. The screen is awesome and it's fast as all hell. Love the feel/weight too.

I did, I think I prefer the bigger size most of the time. Of course ideally when you're in formalwear you would have a small phone and when you're sitting on your couch it would grow to the size of an iPad, but I think until someone comes up with a phone that changes size, the larger one works better for me most of the time.

I went from a 6 to a 6s Plus and I'm honestly not sure about the size of my phone. I feel like it is a little too big at times but when I'm at home it's really nice to use. Still I have the return policy so I can downsize if needed.

I got the 6 Plus because of the battery, stabilization, and some landscape features, but for me a 5 inch, 5.1 inch, or 5.2 inch would have been the sweet spot. I would have preferred the Plus be a 5.7 inch and the 6/6S be around 5 inches. At 4.7 I wanted the larger screen. My wife just got the 6S (upgrading from a 5) and I like it but still prefer the larger screen for a lot of things. I don't like how cumbersome it is sometimes but after a year have gotten quite used to it. With an Apple Watch, I use it less so it stays in my pocket but when I do use it I am glad at the size. I use a Spigen Thin-Fit case in clear which is about the thinnest case you can get that offers some protection, some extra grip, but no bulk.

I am waiting on my 6S Plus and thought do I want to go back. I don't think I will.

Similar experience with my 6 plus. While I could say I have "gotten used to it" too, to the point I don't hate it and lived with it for almost a year now. But it still bugs me every time I sit down or walk upstairs with my 6+ in my pant pocket.

I too have the watch, which makes me pull out my phone less. However, this means the phone stays in my pocket more, and so more reasons to get a smaller phone in my opinion.

As a final thought, I think both sizes have their pros and cons. I had the plus size last time and so want to try the other, smaller, one this round. So far, I'm happy with it.

5S to 6S Plus...so far I like it but it will take some getting used to. 5S felt tiny though.

I feel like i'll bend it wile it is in my pockets though...

Used the 6plus for a year. Got the 6s+ but eventually downgraded to 6s - so much nicer for me. I was scared of losing the big screen but I have an iPad Air 2 and a Mac so I can always look at those when I go through my big screen envy moments :)

I did… I tried the 6s for a day and didn't feel like it was too much of an upgrade so I went for the 6S plus and I'm totally in love with this phone now the 6 feels like a child's toy how small it is.

Exact same experience for me over here. I've already sold my 6 and don't miss it.

I went from 6 to 6s+ and for me it was a good move. At 40+ my eyes enjoy the larger screen and I find it easier to use overall. Less need for my iPad mini as well, actually its usage decreased with the 6.

Same for me. Had the 6, preordered the 6a, but when I played with it on launch day it didn't seem like much of an upgrade. So, Saturday morning I reserved and picked up a Plus. Played with both for 4 or 5 days and am in love with the plus.

Definitely a trade off as far as one handed use and pocketability, but love the screen, can use it one handed for most tasks, and it okay for the most part in my jeans and suit pants although you do feel it when sitting. I really wish they'd get rid of the home button so they could shrink the top and bottom, then pocketability would be great.

I bough an iphone 6 plus on 25 september 2015 and upgraded to iphone 6s plus on 3 October 2015, really worth it and very much satisfied
