Anyone going to hold off on the New MBP??

I've waited this long.. As soon as I know the specs and prices, I'll make a decision and the price drops on the previous versions might be a good selling point for the previous gen.

As far as MBP, no. I'm not waiting since I bought mine back in February with the release of the Penryns.

I am, however, waiting for the new MBs for my wife.

wait for the guinea pigs - if new ones come out in October I'll get myself one for Christmas or early next year...depending on how early adopters react

this is going to be a pretty case design w/ all sorts of neat features, but those expecting dramatic speed increases will be disappointed. These are not the new Intel Core i7 CPUs. They are the same Penryns that were just released. I've love a new Macbook Pro, but I'll wait for i7...

I've been holding off since May. I'm probably going to go for a current one in October if nothing is said. I NEED one for school very soon...

EDIT: Yes, I'll buy one the day they come out- that's what extended warranties are for.

Unless it's a truly amazing upgrade, I'll pick up a previous generation MPB on fleabay. The market will be flooded with them and prices will crater.
