Anyone going to their Apple Store in the morning?

I was at mine (Westchester Mall in White Plains NY) this morning at about 8:00. There were about 5 others when the manager came out and said they recieved their shipment for the day and there were no iPads. I don't know if I wanna take another trip there in the morning and try again or not.

Any of you going?

I'm just going to say this now... DO ANY OF YOU PEOPLE HAVE A JOB!!!!!!
I would have an iPad 2 right now if I was able to line up on friday. But seriously I don't think you should. Wait and walk in when they open and see if they have any. Enough with these lines!

haha, I'm a college student.
 
Either you people don't have a job or about to get fired...

You cannot just say personal day off. No. You cannot get a personal day off like that every single day. Friday, Monday, Tuesday and now this...

Can we start a thread by saying what kind of jobs you all have, if any?

I seriously have no idea what that last sentence was trying to say. 😱 Also, honestly, why would you go onto the MacRumors forum less than a week after a major product release and criticize the fervor? It just seems silly.
 
Went yesterday morning and this morning to La Cantera store in SA. Was told no iPads in the shipment. Some of us rushed across town to the North Star location and alas! iPads! No 3G models but was able to nab 2.
 
I am conveniently on spring break. I went to Apple store in Delaware and the line was huge, I never expected it. They said try again tomorrow.

That's where i've been looking too! I've only called though and every time I call I'm either on hold for a long time or they don't have any... Please tell me if you get one from there!

They are opening an hour early, but I'm not sure of going when I don't know if they will even have a single iPad 2. Kind of feels like doing so would be like buying a lottery ticket. I never have the winning ticket...

I haven't taken any time off. I had my 64gb iPad 3g listed on EBay at a high price as I was including the unlimited plan with it. I figured I would leave it up and if it sold then I would get the iPad 2. Never expected it to go as fast as it did, so tomorrow before I go into work, I will take some early photos for my job, and drop into my local Apple Store, hope they open at 9, hope they have the 64gb 3G preferably AT&T but Verizon will be acceptable, and do my best to get in and out quick to make it to work without much delay.....I work ridiculously late and long hours, so going in late here and there doesn't get me in any kind of trouble.

Crossing my fingers big time though, cant see myself going without my cherished iPad for too long.
 
1) I have a job. It is not Monday - Friday 9 - 5.
2) I am a college student. My schedule rocks.
3) I went at 6 am to my store (California) and got an iPad.


It's total luck.

Will attempt to hit up Fashion Valley (San Diego) tomorrow morning... hoping for a 16 WiFi but I'll jump for a 32.
