Anyone had a BTO Penryn MBP ship yet?

I ordered my "low-end" model w/ the 7200rpm drive (ordered 4 gigs from OWC) and it still hasn't shipped yet - anyone else?

I ordered about an hour or two after the apple store came back online.
 
I ordered mid range model 15" matte with 7200rpm HD and 4gb (crucial on newegg), about the same 1pm EST (GMT-5), still hasnt shipped.

I ordered mine a few hours after the Australian store came back up, I should be getting my backpack and iPod that I ordered at the same time as the MBP delivered tomorrow but the MBP wont arrive until next week.

America must have high demand and low supply.

In Australia, majority of our delivery dates are from March 3 onwards during the week, as Monday is a Public Holiday.
 
I also ordered the base model with 7200 rpm the afternoon it was announced - my order is finally "preparing for shipment."

EDIT: actually it's "Prepared for shipment," big difference.
 
My 2.4 GHz with 7200 rpm hdd still hasn't shipped. I'll call Apple in the afternoon to see if I can find out why. Frankly, though, they still have until the end of tomorrow. When I placed the order I was hoping to get the machine this weekend, as the earliest deliver was given as February 29. Oh well, I now know that's not happening.

well I also did expedited shipping, if that makes any difference
 
I'm noticing that all of you got the 7200 rpm drive. I went with the stock 250GB 5400 rpm drive so I wonder if this is the reason behind the hold up?

I know that Dell is having a shortage of these drives as well.

Doesnt it say somewhere that deliveries are made only during weekdays? Or was it newegg's policy...not sure anymore with all this ordering, but chances are we'll start getting them mid next week.
 
My status has changed to: Prepared for Shipment

I guess I should call up FedEx and tell them to move their arses.
 
So I called Apple and told the sales rep that I'm utterly disgusted by the fact that my order hasn't shipped yet while others have theirs on the way (OK, OK -- I didn't put it quite so strongly ;)) He offered to waive my $18 expedited shipping fee. Since I did not order a remote, I told him to give me a free remote instead. :)

did you get 7200 or 5400?
 
I ordered a BTO 15" 2.4 GHz with the 7200 RPM HDD on the 26th from the Apple Developer's Store and my status is "Prepared for Shipment".
 
Order placed about 7pm EST Tuesday night:

Base 2.4ghz w/ 7200rpm

Status is Not yet shipped:

Ships by: Feb 27 - Feb 29
Delivers by: Feb 29 - Mar 6

My spare power adapter that I also ordered is out for delivery right now...wish they would send them both at the same time...it's kind of hard for some people to take off from work to sign for packages of the same order that are delivered separately :|
