same here... got my sticks 10 minutes ago... i'm getting .mac today, but the MBP is set to ship bet. today and monday.

I ordered overnight shipping yesterday at 12 noon time, EST, and my order has been "Prepared for Shipment" since yesterday. I just called the Apple number and the lady was no help to me. I am pretty mad, and it is saying it may not arrive until March 4th. That does not seem like $27 overnight shipping to me.

Didnt see this was for BTO's.

Mine has been saying that for the past 12 hours already, that friendly guy as depicted in fedex ads, better put on his damn shorts and start shipping.

i ordered mine 10:30 am eastern.
2.6 ghz 15"
it supposed to ship between feb 28 to mar 3.
i called today they said they had to built it from scratch bc it was new model and custom.

Same here, mine arrived around noon, and all I can do is fill out the damn rebate form for now.


Also any1 who ordered 3rd party ram, what are your plans for the stock one? Pawn it on ebay or keep it just in case? And what could it fetch realistically ?

I ordered mine on the 26th in the afternoon, and it still hasn't shipped. The only BTO option that I added to mine was the apple remote.

Supposed to ship by 27-29 and arrive by 29-March 6

keep it just in case.
if 4gigs, new, are going for around 100 bucks, 2 gigs, used, can't fetch much.
i'd say 40 bucks if you sell to a friend.

I went out and bought a new 2.4 today. I wanted a 2.5, but my local apple store was sold out.

Since I have 14 days, do you think if I ordered a 2.5 customer w/ 7200 HD I can get it in 14 days?

Looks like people who ordered a few days ago are starting to ship. How about orders that are placed today/tonight?

I don't know where people get that it's overnight shipping. It doesn't say that anywhere. 2-3 day. Yes. 2-3 days AFTER it ships.

I paid $27 for OVERNIGHT shipping. That is the option I chose. I ordered through EPP, so maybe overnight is just an option for employees. Regardless, I am quite angry my macbook hasn't even shipped yet, two days later. And after it ships, the site says "ships in 1-2 business days." Again, I don't understand why mine hasn't been shipped yet, but I am starting to get very very angry.

I ordered the base model on Feb 26, and it shipped the night I ordered. Mine is already at my FEDEX factory (15 mins away), so I think I will get it tomorrow. It only took 3 days all together. Fast as hell. I'm Canadian.

Also it seems that 2.4s are getting shipped out first, then 2.5 and 2.6 are the most delayed (all 15") and for those who ordered 17" well best of luck :p

I got everything standard on the 15" 2.5, except I went with a Glossy screen. Will that slow time? Ordered Feb. 27 at 7:34 EST. Apple website says:
Ships by: Feb 29 - Mar 4
Delivers by: Mar 4 - Mar 10

Again, I'm noticing that a lot of people who are claiming delays got the 7200 rpm drive. Donno if it's correlated, just an observation.

But don't worry, I'm with you guys on the wait. My MBP bag is already on it's way and my MBP is still waiting to be shipped (saying by March 4 - 10).
