And yes it seems all the 7200rpm mbps are the ones which are getting the delay. If it wasnt for the 7200, Id already have one from the local apple store.

Mine still hasn't shipped and I ordered on the first day. I got a 250 drive, 15 inch, remote, glossy. I check to see if it's shipped every two minutes. It's a disease.
Mine has been saying that for the past 12 hours already, that friendly guy as depicted in fedex ads, better put on his damn shorts and start shipping.

EDIT: My order was prepared for shipment for the past 20 hours already...cant they send a messenger to drop it off at the local postal office already
Dont local Cali apple retailers carry glossy screens? Id think it would have been faster for you to get it from a store.

So, right now it says "Not yet shipped" but says "Ships by: Feb 29 - Mar 4
Delivers by: Mar 4 - Mar 7". I'm SOOOOO EXCITED!!!

Ordered mine today through my brother who works at a retail store. Base Model with a 7200 rpm drive. I have wanted a MBP for a long time and finally sold my 1.83 Macbook and 1.83 iMac for the money to buy it! I can't wait!

OK, here's one for you: Walked into the Apple store in Columbia, Md. (Wednesday), picked up a MBP 2.6 ghz 200gb 7200 rpm (only one in stock) went to buy 4gb of ram from Crucial only to find that it's backordered! So I've got your computer, you have my ram! You can keep it! I'll patiently wait for them to re-stock.

Nice!!! I decided to check the status one more time, before I went to sleep, even though I was positive it hadn't shipped. But to my surprise there was an email from Apple. That was my first post on here, I figured I'd stir up some excitement. This will be my first mac, definitely looking forward to it.

mine was ordered Feb 26th around 12 PST, and its getting shipped to USA. Where are you located? I know European guys have to wait considerably longer.
I ordered a 2.5 7200 RPM today and it's showing a shipping date of Mar 3-5 and delivery between the 5th and 10th. Hopefully I'll get it sooner
