Just got my MacBook and white uniformity seems pretty good however I do get a bit of backlight bleed at the top middle and top right at max brightness on a black background.

I realize the test is extreme but I watch a lot of movies so will see if this is something that will bother me.

It might bother you if the movies are of static black scenes that somehow draw your eye to the edge of the screen. It would be very unusual if you noticed that while watching a normal movie, though.

Thoughts on this display? It’s a little pink on the bottom left. With a black background I noticed the top right has a pinkish color as well.

Is the pinkish tint on the left of mine a brightness or color issue would you say? Would people exchange?
If where you bought it from has flexible returns I would order another one and compare them, then return the one that looks worse. I never noticed anything close to being pink so it sounds like it could be a legit issue. The brightness uniformity I originally posted about is something I've completely become used to.
