I have weather elements on my iPhone 4 and it works great. Below is a screen shot. It is still a work in progress as the guys working on it are always looking to add new things like animations, etc.

There is even a Cydia repo for it. Just add the below to Cydia. You will find HD and non HD versions in the repo.

    http://brandon28139.exofire.net/repo/

Here is the link to the discussion at MacThemes on it.

My recommendation is to load the versions through Cydia as there have been many variations and some of them have some issues. Read the thread as well as there is a web page where you configure your location and preferences. The thread will explain everything.

    Enjoy.

Wow i got it!!!! Thanks Paul!!!! I followed the instructions and I'm using intelliscreen as well. 1 question for you. That link you provided has a bunch of codes, that is supposed to be changed in configureMe.js. What and where is that? I use only my phone to get apps. I have a PC but I dont know how to use it with jailbreaking. Will I be able to make these changes from my phone? For example I would like to have the fast animation option. Thanks alot!!!!!!

One more thing...does anyone know how to get email and call notifications that would be located by the lock slider so it doesnt ruin the image of this theme?

I'm completely lost here. I've read the first 10 and last 10 pages of the thread (including the first page at least 8 times), installed through Cydia, modified the configureMe.js in at least 20 different ways, rebooted over a dozen times, and all I can get is a blank lockscreen with clouds on it.

I also did not find the configuration URL that was supposed to be in the thread. Anybody successfully gotten this running on an iP4 running 4.0.1? If so, pointers?

    Edit: found the URL (I think). It's file:///Library/Themes/Weather%20 Elements%20HiRes.theme/db.html
Entered and saved the configuration, and now I've got "updated-1 minute ago" and a spinning refresh icon, but still no data.

I will do what I can to explain how to use/configure Weather Elements.

    Things you need installed:
    - WinterBoard (so you can turn the theme on)
    - file:// for MobileSafari (so you can access the local configuration web page)

When you install from the Repo I gave above it will install a link on your home screen called "Weather Elements" This will launch Safari where in you can configure the theme. Just enter your ZIP, etc. and you are good to go.

It creates a Safari DB, if you have an old version of Weather Elements installed you may need to delete the Safari DB by going to...

Settings > Safari > Databases > WeatherElements and swipe left to delete the database.

Go to the thread I listed above for a full discussion but keep in mind it is very much a work in progress and look to the later part of the thread for more current releases and such. They are working on animations currently which will be great once complete. This thing just gets better and better.

This was where I ran into the problems. Launching that icon gave a failure to load URL error--that error message actually led me to finding the configuration page for myself (which ultimately didn't work for me).

Uninstalling the Cydia version and manually installing the package from page 47 of that thread (linked above) worked like a champ. At some point, I may try the packaged version again (especially once it's fully animated), but for the moment I'm pretty happy.

    Thanks for your help.

Glad it is working for you. This is a great theme.

Your issue was probably due to not having file:// installed for Safari. The biggest issue with the theme is all the info to make it come together is spread over many many pages in the thread. For those of use following it from early on we can figure it out, but coming to it 80 pages in is tough.

This is a gorgeous lockscreen. Thanks for the info. I was able to download (although the server is extremely slow) and set it up in no time.

Anyone know of a working status notifier of email, calls, etc, that would work nice with this theme? Something near the bottom that doesnt take a lot of visual space would be ideal. I seen one on you tube and the guy said to use statusnotifier but that doesnt work for 4.0.1. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm using LockInfo and I chose to hide my empty sections. I've just started using this theme so I'll see how it goes.

Yeah I have to but it drives me nuts having it cover the bottom of the sun or moon. Oh by the way I had problems today for it refreshing. It was dark outside but kept showing the sun?

Quick question. I got this working, without having to SSH anything from the computer thanks to the new cydia source. Everything seems to be working great, except I do not see any actual animation. Is there only a certain type of weather that has animation? Maybe my screen is locking before i see anything?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
I am using the same app (i think) and works ok, animations, location, everything but i have a problem. since i installed the "weather elements", the time is no longer displayed on the status bar, insted there is a small icon of a lock there. i saw the same thing in your screen shots, but at the end, you have some of them showing the time. any suggestions on how to fix this?
    thanks

(hope i'm asking in the right place, if not, i apologize for inconvinence)

This lockscreen theme is still awesome and still works! :)

Hi guys, I know this is an old thread but I just wanted people to know this lockscreen theme still works and is still available in Cydia.

There is a post here where it can still be obtained if anyone is interested.

    http://onestop-jailbreak.com/blog/?p=413

I still use this theme and love it.
