Anyone here had a problem free upgrade to 10.6.2?

Problems during the install or after the install? I had no problem during the install. I've had no problems after either, but I haven't had time to test it out very thoroughly yet.

The other threads seem to contain a wide number of cases of problems after the install in the nature of certain things just not working right. It seemed like more than the usual to me.

No problems on 2 machines here (ubMBP & MBA).

I did have to reselect my audio output and reset input levels on the ubMBP, but I hardly think that's an "issue".

No problems here since 10.5 through 10.6.2. Had more trouble with iphoto 09 than with OS X.

I guess it depends on what you do with your computer and what you have installed.

The only issue I am still having with Snow Leopard is that it will not automatically go to sleep. Other than that, amazing OS!

The only issue I've had was that I had to reselect the microphone in the app "LineIn". Maybe its internal ID changed or something.

Only problem i am suffering so far is low volume even though the volume shifter is on max! it effects all volume sources

Yep. Perfect installation and so forth. While I had no complaints about 10.6.1, the update seems to have made the Finder a little more responsive and has slightly reduced App launch time. Boot and shutdown times remain the same.

I wonder what the source(s) of so many of the problems reported with 10.6 is/are? I haven't had any significant problems with it--and, much the like 10.5.2 update in Leopard, the 10.6.2 revision finally has the feeling of polish and completeness that the (always-rushed) RTM release lacked.

Just for info, I am running 10.6 in pure x64 mode, kernel included.

has anyone noticed if this fixed the issue of the apple remote controlling itunes / front row when using it in hulu desktop? It worked perfectly under leopard but with snow leopard the remote is unusable for hulu desktop and thats a bummer... thank goodness for ipod touch apps!

EDIT: well i just did the 10.6.2 update and hulu desktop also updated so im not sure which fixed the issue but it is FIXED! the apple remote works perfectly with hulu desktop!

10.6.2 has been wonderful. Apple finally fixed the expose glitch with the 4 finger gestures.
